My old charcoal chimney starter wore out. Got this as a replacement and it works well. Holds the perfect amount for my Weber 22" Kettle. Ok build quality. I'm sure I'll wear this one out in two or three years, but it's a good bang for the buck.

Works perfectly! Add a few pieces of crumpled up paper (I use my junk mail) add the charcoal in the top chamber and light it up. She ready to dump and cook in 10 minutes. Buy with confidence!

Simple enough this chimney works wonders! So easy to clean since the smoke debris will wipe right off. Easy to take with you camping or anywhere you need it since it’s not terribly large but big enough to fit an ample amount of charcoal. BEST way to light your charcoal and most cost efficient. Light a couple hand towels under there with some cooking oil on it and the fire will be so hot! BUY IT!

I've liked the Kingsford charcoal chimney. It is large, so I can get a large number of briquettes going. The only downside is that it doesn't have any holes in the briquette basket. If you're heating a lot of coals it might take a while and your bottom coals will be pretty blasted before the tops get started.

This is the best one we have gotten, it has held up to daily use in the spring, summer and fall. the handle does not get hot so it is easy (and safe) to dump the red hot charcoal. Very easy to use and does not take up a lot of space

I always have trouble with charcoal and lighter fluid to get started and keep going. This wonderful little gadget works so good I got rid of lighter and fluid and only use charcoal without lighter fluid in it. I use the brown paper that is sent in boxes when order products and put it in the bottom and put charcoal in the top and set it on top of grill and light the bottom and it wonderfully lights the charcoal and when charcoal is ready, it put on grill and cook. Happy with results. Oh recently purchased a topsy turvy turkey lifter wire rack and made a Martha Stewart cheesecloth turkey with it that turned out delicious in the oven. When it gets warmer till try using it on the grill.
