EZ RED S520 Side Lifter

If it were not for this tool being in the auto industry, my back, hands and face would be more of a mess than they are as of now. This tool not only keeps my hands free of acidic electrolytes, but it makes the transferring of the old battery/batteries only a rolling dolly with a slab of wood easy to do. After the removal and placement onto the dolly to the recycling bin, the re-installation is a hooters worth easier to grab from the appropriate shelf to place into the engine bay. Except for on the Dodge Journeys with the battery placement inside of the left front fender well, but safety is safety and Dodge is very noble, so no complaints there, just this tool is unable to help with that vehicle. Besides my hands being saved while wearing gloves and using this tool, my face does not get covered with acid build-up from accidental wiping from my hands or the S520 side lifter.Simple maintenance for this tool is to tighten the bolt or it might be fixed, hard to remember but it does slide smoothly, a little white lithium grease or 5w-30 Penzoil never hurt anybody. It is adjustable and easy to use. I'm a stroke survivor, the battery in my mustang is positioned against the firewall with little room to access, but I am able to easily remove and replace it with my one good hand, using this tool.

This tool makes it so much easier to remove a battery from a vehicle.

This is an excellent tool for removing automotive batteries from tight spaces or when the battery does not have a handle on it. I recently had to remove a battery from a 2016 Cadillac XTS. This battery had no handle on it and that the time my hands we're suffering from severe skin cracks and other injuries that would have made removing the battery by hand awkward. This this tool allowed me to remove the battery with one hand.

I just used this product to lift a heavy battery out of our 2017 Chevy Equinox. The battery had failed and will be replaced. This product was exactly what I needed to extract it.I had already tried to get the old battery out with gloves and (admittedly small) muscles. Too little space in the battery compartment. I put this clamp lifter over the top, adjusted the notched bar and then lifted. The clamp pieces dug in, and the battery came straight out, even easier than expected.I’ll never pull a battery without this tool again. Glad I bought it. You’ll be glad, too.

Should have brought one of these years ago. Works great on every battery I've tried so far.

Haven't tried it on a regular vehicle yet, but works perfect to remove and install my lawn tractor battery for our Midwest winters. Not much room to get your hands in around this particular lawn tractor battery so this works great. Not a huge fan of picking up a battery by the posts, so I much prefer this type/style. Very well made, very sturdy. Should easily last a lifetime and longer.

Had to lift 6 golf cart batteries out of the cart and carry them to the basement for winter storage. The Lifter worked perfectly. I could lift and move the heavy batteries safely.

Appears to be identical to the Snap-On/Bluepoint that I bought off the Snap-On truck almost 30 years ago.Works excellent
