Just recently purchased this little gem... Can't go wrong with any of Regula's cookbooks..😊
What a lovely book from Regula Ysewijn. I love cookbooks and have enjoyed all three books from Regula. I would have to say Pride and Pudding is my favorite because I love all her pictures and knowledge she share with you. Also be sure to follow her on Instagram and Facebook. Her recipes are awesome and she actually responds to your comments. You will not be disappointed in any of her books....

Develop some pudding skills during lockdown, all the old favourites are here. Only trouble is the obesity clinic and the dentists are closed, so go easy

Great little book dotted with the stories of each pudding
This book is a lovely continuation from Regula's first book 'Pride and Pudding’ which deals with the more historical puddings so there is no overlap in recipes. For this book she has investigated historical links between our traditional and most loved puddings and National Trust properties. There are all the school favourites like Cornflake tart (Yum!) and Fudge tart but also the traditionals, some of them less well known like Hollygog pudding, Apple Dappy and Amber puddings. There are also recipes that came from the National Trust's archive. As Regula is a photographer we are not used to not having her gorgeous scenic pictures but the illustrations that feature instead are beautiful. For this price this book is an ideal stocking filler or small gift for a relative or friend abroad, in fact I’m buying a copy for all my friends in and outside of the UK. I can not recommend enough!
