A lot of silicone tools are cheap & dipped in silicone, leaving a thin layer. These are solid, sturdy metal bases with silicone heads. The silicone unit a tip either, they will not slip off or get gunk lodged inside.They're good useful sizes.I use the medium size tongs pretty much every time I cook -- moving/turning food stove top or in oven. When I'm not using tongs, usually use the spatula to stir a pot or toss food in a pan. Also great for most baking stirring & scraping chores, other than the biggest bowls or heavier doughs.Locking mechanism on tongs is easy & reliable.All have gone through the dishwasher with no problems.Excellent price point for this set.Maybe this doesn't matter to anyone else, but the color is cheerful & works well with other colors.Completely satisfied.

I use these for everything. The lock feature looks nice and works nice. It’s easy to use very lightweight and very functional. It has silicone tongs, which makes it perfect for things like in your Dutch oven or your nonstick pans. But durable enough to flip things on the grill. Very impressive.

I was pleasantly surprised as to how sturdy these set is. The packaging not so much, but that's not a problem. Don't know since I just got them how well they will do and last but what I see they are very well made and strong and honestly for the price you can't go wrong. You can't even buy one for what I paid for four of them and again they do look and feel very sturdy, not cheap and worth trying them, again, if they don't work well for you, you didn't go broke trying.

These tongs and spatula seem to be well made and I really like the red color. I can easily find them in my utensil drawer or crock. The locking mechanism works easily and really hold the tongs in a locked position until I'm ready to use them. A quick tap and the tongs open.

Left my good silicone tongs at a family cookout. Planned on going back to pick them up but after about 2-3 months, decided to pick this up during the Prime Day sale.Didn’t think I’d like the spatula but it’s actually better than the ones I’ve previously purchased because it’s one whole piece. Unlike the wooden handle with a silicone end piece put together. Keeps nasty out of the joining parts. The three different sized tongs are good to have. I typically use the larger one for cooking but the others are great for serving.This is good pack and it comes at a fair price considering all you are getting. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend, especially if you can get this set on sale haha.

In the beginning I was esceptyc for this set since I used to have a set made of bamboo for the robustness but when I started using this set in the battle in the kitchen, I can tell you that I have used every item to turn fried chicken in oil, fried eggs, mixed eggs, fried plantains, ground beef, and much more and I confirm the high heat resistance they are. At the touch they are pretty robust, solid, you can grab the kitchen legs on thighs and you will feel confident the food won't fall off from the twizzers.They are great! I'm very happy with them
