Q: Are you considering making the diffuser plate in stainless steel instead of plastic polymer? Would help cats with chin acne.

Yes, please! I was looking at this fountain because I like that the pump is separate making it easier to clean and advertises as stainless steel, but looks like it isn't completely. I have one cat who is subject to chin acne.

Q: Are there any plans to make Eversweet 3 with a water level gauge? The Eversweet 2 model allows me to monitor how much water my cat is drinking.

My pump has been working for 4 years of continuous use. Can't speak to the generic replacement parts.

Q: What is the white part on top made of? Is that part of the filter?

The white part is plastic & is not part of the filter, it acts as a ledge to hold water for drinking and to flush out hair. I am very happy with this fountain overall. It has a unique design that filters the water in 2 was, off the white plastic ledge & through the actual filter below. hope that helps.
