Etching/Engraving Precision Tip Tool for Maker and Explore

Easy to use.

This tool is super handy and amazing!! I am now able to engrave on my Cricut Explore Air 2 for a few bucks less than the same thing Chamos sells. I might want to try the blunt tip from them but the precision tip works just fine. Used it in the right "canister" B where the blades go, not the marker and I use it on cut and not engrave or anything else. But it does work and works well.

Worth buying without paying high prices for name brands

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered this for my cricut air explore 2..fits in my machine perfectly, pairs with my machine perfectly..but for the life of me I can’t get the text that I’m engraving to show up unless it’s a big text. I tried multiple different fonts and sizes and settings on my cricut and the only thing that turned out “ok” was on a dollar store cake server and the block text showed good, not the cursive. :( not sure if I’m doing something wrong (probably since I am new to this) but I had high hopes for this and all the things I’d be making esp for my new puppy!

The media could not be loaded.  Used Cricut Explore Air, tool slot B, on 24 gauge (0.05 cm) aluminum sheets. Created my own custom setting of materials with a pressure of 325, 4x multi-cut, fine-point blade and used the purple strong grip mat with no tape needed to hold down the aluminum. Worked like a charm! Now to mount on wood to finish my garden markers.

This stated it works with air explore 2. But I couldn't get it to do anything but tear the wood. I tried acrylic and different settings but finally just returned it.

I just used this product for the first time and was so excited for the results. I used it with my cricut air 2 on the cardstock plus setting and it engraved my dollar tree spatula beautifully. It was so easy and also a great price. I can't wait to engrave more with it.

I woukd like to apologise to the seller of this item i bought and wrote about the product not fitting my machine and not being able to use it as i have now spent quite a few hours trying to get this product to work in my cricut explore air 2 machine and it now fits and works very well with great results in slot b on the machine and not slot A as tutorials show once again my apoligies thank you
