Flickers on Insteon dimmer switch
I used these to replace a bunch of halogen lights. I like that they're dimmable, but the problem is that with my Insteon dimmer, these would flicker quite a bit on the dimmer levels. Very noticeable. My solution was to keep one halogen bulb in the track to give the switch more of a load, and now I can dim down all the way without any flicker, but I wish I didn't have to do that.I was hoping these bulbs had more of a "uplight" glow since my light fixtures are glass, and the old halogen bulbs would actually shine a little light upwards towards the ceiling as well. It provides a nice glow when they do that, but so far I just haven't found any LED bulbs that can simulate that same effect. It would probably require a specific couple of LEDs on the back part of the LED bulb to really pull that off, but I think enough people have a need for it that hopefully, someday, a company will do this. For now though, these definitely provide more of that "uplight" glow effect than other GU10 LED bulbs I've tried. At full brightness they do give the upper part of the glass fixture a bit of glow. Nowhere near as much as the halogen, but enough so you can see it and appreciate it. I guess that's something.A different brand/model of dimmer, perhaps one of the Lutron models, might give better dimming performance, but I'm kind of locked into the Insteon ecosystem at the moment. They're good dimmers and work well with most LED bulbs, but there are some where it just doesn't like them and they flicker, like these.

Energy efficient and long lasting.
I bought a ten pack in May of '20 to replace the 10 halogen 50w bulbs in some lighting. At 6w (advertised) each they are using 12% of the energy and just as bright as the ones that came with the light fixtures. The bulbs get warm, but not egg cooking hot like the old halogens. As of now, February '23 I have one bulb of the 10 that has started flickering occasionally. I don't know exact run time, but the set of five that needs one replaced is the fixture that gets more use than the other. They are plenty bright for their purpose as well, just as bright as the halogens.I'm impressed with the run time and energy use. I'm tempted to measure the actual power draw and compare to the advertised amount. Overall a good purchase, I'd recommend them.

Bought 2700; not as warm as 2700 should be.
I ordered a few different types of these and settled on this brand. They are a serviceable bulb, and were the best of the various ones I tried. Last night I had to replace one in this fixture and was disappointed in the warmth value. On the right is a traditional halogen, and on the left is this bulb, labeled as 2700k. You can see that it is quite a bit cooler. I couldn’t find others that are listed as 2700k, so I guess I’ll settle for these, but buyer beware.

It still flickers when dimmed low
I bought these because they were the most expensive LEDs I could find. They sure have a wonderful advertisement/marketing video. Unfortunately, despite saying they don’t flicker, they do :( so I’m gonna have to go back to halogen lights for my range hood unfortunately.

Great replacement for Halogen
These are an affordable replacement for the hot and not so energy efficient halogen bulbs used in track lighting.I highly recommend.

These are very bright
I love love love the white light, ( my home is no longer dark since I only have 5 windows ) and the fact they do NOT flicker ( tested with an iPhone 14 pro camera underneath them) They are very bright and I find it hurts my eyes if I look at them straight on so I have them angled away so they arent directly facing me when I enter the room in case we ever need them at full brightness. I also love that they are fully dimmable. Bought another package for the second track light.

Best Colour Match to my other Halogen Lights
I noticed that the light coming from my Philips halogen bulbs had "yellowed" over time. I use the bulbs to illuminate a picture and need a more "neutral" white for truer colour representation. I wanted the brightness to match a chandelier on the same dimmer circuit and the colour temperature to be harmonious with my other halogen lamps in the room (Reference bulb: Radium Skylight, 12V, 50W). I have included pictures using a Mastery Mart bulb 2700K to light 1/2 of the picture and my reference light the other half (more or less). The light fixture holding the Mastery bulb is on the ceiling and not in frame of the photo. In the second photo I use a Dewenwils 3000K vs my reference light. To my eye the 3000K is too white / gray when compared to the reference light. The Dewenwils is a very fine bulb, especially the 400LM as it illuminates the back of the light fixture very much like a true MR16 bulb, has excellent dimmer performance, great dimmer range, and completely flicker free (on my old school circa 1978 dimmer switch). The Mastery bulb is excellent in most of these categories as well, but boasts lesser wattage and higher life expectancy. But the clincher was the 2700K of the Mastery bulb, it is more harmonious with my existing lighting.
