Product came together very nicely. The only thing I would warn people of is there are no predrilled holes on the shelves. So you have to do that on your own. Overall a good purchase.

The item was as described and seems solidly built. It assembled easily and looks nice. I had some issues mounting it on the wall, though that was due to the old plaster walls in my home and not any fault of the product. As with other reviewers I do note that there are no pilot holes drilled in the shelves, though frankly with them being covered particle board, the screws went in easily even without drilling. Assembly only took me about 15 minutes. I'm pleased with the purchase.

I really like this shelving set but the seller/manufacturer would sell more if they would predrill holes in the shelves for assembly. Not everyone has the know-how or the tools to put this together. I know plenty of people who would love this product but would get fed up and return it because of the hassle of assembling it.I saw somewhere that the holes are not pre-drilled to allow the buyer to choose which side of the shelf is facing up. Most people buying these shelves won’t care that much at this price.It is pretty and sturdy but I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who isn't ready for the extra work in assembling it. I bought this because it was the only shelf set that fit in a small wall section in my room.

The shelves look great. They are very sturdy and I do like them a lot. However I am not giving 5 stars just because of the assembly. It was more difficult than I thought it should be. I understand they want you to be able to use the shelves any way you want and therefore the holes are not pre-drilled. This makes it a two person job to hold and drill and line things up. It is a lot of fussy work. I guess I was not expecting that. It was not horrible since I own a drill and know how to use it. The shelves look great on the wall.

Let me start by saying once I got this up on the wall it is absolutely freaking gorgeous , but the installation was a nightmare number one why in the heck are there no predrilled holes who came up with that design number two the anchors provided DO NOT USE THEM use regular wall anchors we literally ripped giant holes in our drywall trying to use them other than the nightmare of installation it it literally gorgeous and totally worth 20 bucks !

I wanted to write to the company before posting a review but no address was provided. It said on the card in the package if you have issues reach out to them but could not find a way to do that. No phone number or email address or website was provided. The shelving piece did not have any markings or predrilled holes or a mention of where the shelves should be attached. As someone putting these together without help I had no idea how or where to put the shelves so they would be uniform. For example 1/2” from the edge. I was nervous to put the holes in the shelf blocks of wood because if they were wrong I was screwed. So summing it up I would not say it was easy to assemble or install. A company should make the directions as detailed and simple as possible. Predrilled holes in the shelf boards would have made it 100% better.

I like the shelf. But putting it together, there are no pilot holes for the screws in the (not) wood shelf. So it takes a little bit to put it together and align everything properly.

The look and concept of this shelving unit is pretty functional and different from the shelves you can buy at your local home improvement store. The only downfall/hassle is that the shelves don't come with predrilled holes so you spend a lot of time making sure the shelves are level as you attach them to the wall bracket. If you're a patient person you'll be fine as it really is a nice unit but if you're not a patient person take lots of deep breaths.
