As LED lights go, these bulbs are fine, but they are NOT dimmable.

One of the 5 bulbs was faulty but no problem they sent me another pack straight away - great customer service!

Having encountered issues with getting the right LED 12v bulbs with this fitting that actually work, these were a pleasant surprise.They are probably 50-60W equivalent.As I had halogen bulbs before in the two rooms I was converting, I also bought two leading edge dimmer switches. It worked perfectly in the first room, but in the 2nd room it did not; lots of flickering and even sparking inside the dimmer switch. I have expected this as there was always a good chance that the 12v transformer would not but up to the task, so no fault of the bulbs - I have ordered an 12v LED power source.Edit;Sorry, although they do work OK in one bedroom, I couldn't get them to work in an other room with a similar leading edge led dimmer switch and new transformer.In the end I gave up and took the led transformer out and put in 240v led bulbs which work fine.Sorry to anyone misled by my initial review.

Considering the other four spots seem to be holding up pretty well for almost a week now, I think that first one was faulty. Taking one star off for that alone.I also don't like the fact they're flickering a bit in the first minute after starting up. After that they stabilise and are OK. The light output doesn't seem what it should be. Description says 600 lumens but they're dimmer than the 345 lumens I used to get from B&Q. Minus one star for that also.Dimming makes them flicker a lot more and they start going out one by one after a certain threshold.However I don't know what's the type or state of the driver so can't fault the spotlights entirely.

Bit pricey but they are the only ones I’ve found that work flawlessly with my dimmer switchesGood product , if you dimmer switch leds then these are good

Arrived promptly and fitted as a direct replacement for halogen lights. Definitely dimmable

My first pack of these seemed fine. I fitted 3 of them and although they were tricky to get into the light fitting as they have ridges that the original bulbs did not, the light they gave off was fine. The fourth I only fitted recently. It flickered when first switched on but then stablised. Every time I switched the light on there was that flickering for a good few minutes. I thought I must just have a duff bulb and I ordered another pack. I fitted the fifth bulb (from the original pack) into another fitting and that flickered too but less so and intermittently. The new bulbs arrived. I replaced one of the flickering ones and the flickering stopped but instead there was a buzzing. As others have said before, the listing says Dimmable but the pack itself says NOT Dimmable. I did put one on a dimmable circuit and it did dim slightly but not like the other spotlights in the room. I will NOT be buying again and I really regret buying the second pack.

The media could not be loaded.  After fitting some new garden lights I wanted to dim them separately. I converted the lights from GU10 mains to MR16 12VDC so I could use smaller wire and safer. I am dimming on the 12VDC side so it's super smooth no jumps in light output and they are rock steady, they also run cool unlike others I tried and use hardly any current.I am using dimmers I brought from Amazon so far really impressed with the light output, but thinking I should have gone with warmer light instead of daylight.
