I am very happy with this new light fixture. My old florescent in my sewing room had gone out. This is so much brighter! I'm 66, so I need brighter light than I used to. 66 also means that I got an electrician to install it because I didn't feel like I should install an 8 foot fixture on the ceiling. I don't know how the installation would be had I tried to do it on my own. Very pleased with the result though.

Needed a bright light for a workbench in the garage and this one really does the job! Some things to know are that the light is 94 1/2” long overall, so if you’ve framed for a full 8ft, you may need to adjust. Also, it helps to have a second hand to mount the light because it could bend under its own weight if it’s not supported properly during mounting. Access cover comes off easily for wiring and mounting and the light is super bright! Packaging could be better. Mine arrived un damaged but I can see how some folks complained of damage during shipment. All in all, a great light and I recommend it!!

Got the light delivered over the weekend and had it installed within an hour. Light is very bright and helps to fully illuminate my garage which is your typical 2 car garage with 8ft ceilings. The center cover was easy to remove to access all the lighting components and the wiring was color coded to match my US cabling standards using a Black, White, and Green cable. There were multiple holes throughout the light's structure to allow for solid mounting into the floor joists above which was nice because I didn't have to drill into the metal.I found the light output to be even and cover from floor to ceiling. There is no shadowing from the center cover when it is on.I would have given this light a 5 star rating, but the light came to me damaged. One of the end caps had come off due to the thing being dropped or hit by the shipper (I expect). The drop broke the rivets off of the light and bent the center structure. I was able to remedy this by using some pliers to bend the metal on the end and rivet the end cap back on. Seeing the end sits close to a beam that holds the floor joists above it should not be noticeable so I did not take the time to return. I do think the light can be packaged better, and Antlux should really look into packaging this thing with at least a small amount of foam on the ends and some center support.

I was kind of disappointed after I hung this light in and plugged it in. I was expecting it to be much brighter. Turns out I hung it about 4 in the afternoon and turned it on with the garage open on a bright day. When things got a little darker outside, I was amazed. It made a huge difference in my garage lighting! Just amazing. It is light weight and a simple install. My only surprise was that the description said "corded-electric" but there is no cord. Instructions call for it to be hard wired and mounted to a junction box in the ceiling. I had planned on running it to a plug above my workbench. No problem because I just went to the local hardware store and bought a 6' 3 prong "appliance replacement cord" and wired it to that. I am sure that I will be buying more of this unit in the future for my parents' and brother's garages

In their infinite wisdom the builders did not put windows in our building. The old lighting made it hard to see. These new lights really brighten the area

Nice light I bought 12 at a2wk intervals. The first 4 came with no issues. The next round came damaged at the end but the box wasn’t damagedI sent back for return and lost the sales tax plus I had to pay ups to print a label. So to return a damaged item it cost me $8.20 . Not to mention the inconvenience. The light itself gives plenty ofLight however the light is flimsy.
