Ultimate Sticker Puzzles: License Plates Across the States: Travel Puzzles and Games

Bought this for my nine year old son as something to do on a 13 hour road trip. The whole family enjoyed searching for different license plates. We have since left it in the car and continue to use.

Bought for my nephew. He collected licence plates. He is excited to use this book to track what he has and needs to get.

This is a great book and has been a source of a lot of joy for my child. My only complaint is that the stickers keep popping off. I think leaving it in the hot car has melted the glue on the stickers we have already placed in the book. We have just kept some tape in the car with the book and slap some on whenever a new sticker has been placed. Fixed the problem easily. Otherwise, so much fun and I will probably order more to give as gifts.

Good travel activities for children while ring in vehicle.

Bought the book for a 10 day vacation/road trip to the Northwest with my daughters ages 6 and 11 and their grandparents ages 75 and 82. My family, including grandma, had a blast looking for different states on the road. Every rest stop was an opportunity to scour through the parked cars to find even more states! It kept them awake and eager during the long drives for about an hour, before the kids fell asleep. My 6 year old and 75 year old mom probably had the most laughs with searching for the different states. Each time we loaded into the car, they would be asking for the book to make sure we had it on our drive so we knew what states to keep an eye for. My 11 year old helped with reading out the names of the states and locating them on the map. She also enjoyed the games and puzzles in the book. I thought it was also a great geography lesson using the stickers. We ended finding 30 states during our 10 day trip.

We took a three week trip out west last year and this year too. Each trip I purchased a copy of this book for my two younger kids, ages eight and ten. This provided hours of entertainment while driving down the road looking for license plates to complete the map in the center of the book. Stickers representing each state's license plate can be placed on the appropriate spot on the map once the license has been spotted on a car. The only down side is that the stickers are located in the center of the book so you must rip them out to see the entire US map or you can only see half of the map at a time. There are many activities pertaining to the states in the book as well. They were easy to do and provided hours of entertainment and a little bit of an education as well. I will definitely buy again next year for our next road trip.

I was excited for this book because it had the license plate activity with stickers and other activities as well. The sticker page sits in the middle of the book between the map where you place the stickers. This breaks up the map and blocks some of the sticker spots that are in the middle. The stickers also did not stick well. Bummed by the quality since my kids favorite part was doing the license plates.

Great product, and great price. I gave one of these to each of my two kids at the start of a road trip and week-long visit to Yosemite and they loved them. It kept them busy and kept us (the parents) sane. For the license plate spotting, we made it into a friendly contest with one team being myself and one daughter, and the other team being my wife and the other daughter. After our week in Yosemite our team found all but 12 or so states. Unlike previous reviewers, we did not have any problems with the stickers not sticking. It sure taught us about which states have the most people. Even in California it is easy to spot Florida or New York or Ohio or Georgia. Not so easy to spot New Hampshire or Mississippi, but we spotted them. They got North Dakota but we spotted South Dakota. We all cheered when we finally spotted Wyoming on the way out. The books also have a few state-related puzzles that help pass the time. For learning about states, I also recommend the ipad app "Stack the States".

This is the second time we’ve bought this book. We love the map and the stickers when you find the license plates. Easy to use and hours of family fun on the road.

An American friend bought this for me when doing Route 66 as she always played the game as a kid, so i bought for a friend road-tripping in the states over the summer. She loved it! Inside is a map of the USA and a sticker of the licence plates for every state. There are also a few other games in there.
