Yeah, pull the trigger.
So, I’ve been trying to get back in the saddle, literally, since I had TKR in late winter. Nothings felt right. The 3 saddles I’ve cycled thru 2 bikes, my bars too wide, my stems too short. Heck, my flat pedals are too flat...So I found the Sage Beccus navigating through amazon. Buying a saddle online didn’t seem ideal, but like I said, nothings been right. It came in early with a note from Scott, the owner of Lucky Bird. He asked if I’d share my thoughts after I rode on it. He could have been in for a shock, since I’ve been such a whiny little B**ch, but guess what, the saddle rocked.First things first. When I unpackaged it I liked the look. Great graphics and high gloss rails. And yes that matters when you putting it on top of a $6k Pivot. Got it out to my favorite trail for a ride. I wanted to like the saddle so I was anticipating feeling good on it as I took off. That goes out the window 3 miles in at 85 degrees. But as the old pains came back, and the pedals were still to flat, the saddle held up its end of the bargain. It’s wide enough in the back, where it needs to be. And it’s short enough to maneuver. I bike in Michigan, so while there’s not much elevation there are the surprise roots and rocks. Especially after all the rain. My taint has taken a beating.I’m not a little guy. I go 215. So I’m not really a gram counter. But for the price.... I’m getting one for my hard tail and fatty. It’s really a nice seat..

Butt isn't sore
I bought this saddle a couple of months ago and have been using it while riding on the trainer. This past weekend I got my first chance to use it on the road. Did a 35 mile group ride and hit some bumps and felt great. No wiggling with discomfort at all. Looking forward to plenty of more rides.

Really like this saddle
I have used this saddle on my mountain bike for a season. I just bought a gravel bike and bought another Sage Beccus saddle after riding down the block on the saddle that came with the bike. I really like this saddle. It is the most comfortable bike seat I have found, for aggressive riding.I have seen some negative reviews, one suggesting that the saddle is too hard. I think that this saddle is intended to be a compromise for comfort and weight/size. If you want a very plush saddle for leisurely rides on roads or multi-use paths, or commuting - DO NOT GET THIS SADDLE. Get a big plush saddle and be very comfortable day in/day out. If you want a very comfortable, reasonably light saddle for aggressive riding - I think this is a safe bet. However, saddles are very personal and it is common for avid cyclist to try a bunch before they settle on the one they like.

Definitely a great saddle if you like longer rides!
I have been eyeing this saddle for some time. The first place I saw it was in mountain biker magazine where the graphics on the saddle caught my eye and I did some research. I prefer to ride longer distance and have just gotten used to experiencing saddle pain on rides over 20 miles. This saddle was amazing when I sat on it today. I ride 500 to 600 miles every month and I really needed this to bring my cycling enjoyment full circle. I know I may sound like a paid reviewer but I guarantee I am not. I am just someone who is finally happy with saddle comfort and the fact it has graphics I like is just icing on the cake. I got this one for my Salsa Warbird. I am going to order two more. One for my Giant Trance 2 and one for a back up. I don't know much about this company but I don't want to take a chance these won't be available in the future. When I get the other two saddles I will report back with weight on them. I forgot to weigh it before I installed it and now that it's setup perfect weight will have to wait. :D It did feel very light. The build quality is great and the graphics are embossed and seem like they will last.

Feels pretty good!
While this settle might not appear to be thick enough to be comfortable, you’d be wrong. I ride a Fuji road bike and I ride approximately 100 per week (yesterday I did 50 miles on my indoor trainer). I’ve tried maybe 6 different brands then I saw this one on Amazon. Between the reviews and design seemed worth a try. The issue I was having was sore “sit bones”. Because this has a center cut out, that other “lower” area wasn’t an issue in terms of getting numb. And for those of you that don’t ride as much, understand, riding a bike isn’t like sitting on your sofa, you will have some discomfort but the question is, how much and is it manageable. With this settle my answer is yes. After using it for maybe 350-400 miles I do like it.

Great for me.
I have been a cyclist most of my life. 5-7K per year, on and off road. Throughout my cycling history I have tried an uncountable number and types of saddles. Having worked for a bike shop allowed me to have access to most any brand too. One thing I have learned. Every saddle DOES NOT work for every cyclist. For me, the Sage works great. Comfortable, well built and appears to lend itself to my riding style. I am 6ft x 215lbs. As I said, for me, this is a great saddle so far.

Excellent saddle
I'm 5'9" and 160lbs. It took me three or four different seat attempts before I found this, the perfect seat for me personally. The other seats in the 138mm to 144mm width were just too narrow for my sit bones. This 155mm is the perfect width and the padding is excellent, the perfect balance between cushion and firmness. I ride around 100 miles per week and since riding with this seat I never feel any discomfort.

Great saddle!
I have this saddle on all three of my main bike: my full-suspension, my hardtail, and my gravel bike. I can spend 12 hours at a time on this saddle, and it has a cute little owl on it. I love this saddle. I should probably buy 3 more in case they are ever discontinued. Great comfort, style, and value.
