I used it as a tenderizer to make Hunter’s Beef. Got the best results and flavor.

Using to dose nitrates in reef tank
I have a mixed reef tank that has nitrate levels undetectable. I decided to start dosing sodium nitrate to raise them. I have been able to maintain nitrate levels where I want them to be by using this product mixed with 1 gallon of RODI water dosing 5ml a day in a tank with approx 40g total volume. I have been dosing for a little over 2 months and nitrate levels are stable and I have had no ill effects from dosing this product.

Good product….but
Make sure you know what you’re doing with this stuff. It is not the same as pink curing salt. If you use this stuff in the same proportions as curing salt,, you’ll kill somebody.

Actually, I used this product for aquarium use. I’m using this product to raise nitrates in a reef aquarium. It works well.

Extremely over priced
My fault for not looking closer at the quantity. It's a good thing I only needed 2 Tablespoons because that is about all there is in the package. looking inside the package it doesn't look like I even have 4T so I have 2T the next time I make a corned beef.
