Perfect for our purposes.
I bought this tent only to use for late night girls' night "campouts" on the back deck with my teen daughter to watch movies and have snacks, without being eaten alive by mosquitos. I just bring in my laptop. I can't vouch for the water resistance, since it wasn't raining when we used it (so far just once) but here's my experience:I unpacked it. The directions were pretty easy. I'm sure I'll put it together in half the time in the future since I now know how to do it, but it literally only took me about 10 minutes, and that was with stopping a lot to read the instructions. I think the rain cover was actually more difficult for me to figure out and took longer to install than the actual tent, but now I know how to do it. This tent can be put up with rain cover in 5 minutes once you know what you're doing. It's VERY lightweight, comes in a small carry bag. Since we only used it on the deck, we didn't need to use the stakes for tying it down, but they are included. It's is sturdy enough for what we're using it for and appears to be well made. There was plenty of room inside for us to relax on a pile of pillows in front of the laptop with 2 small dogs and snacks. We carried it indoors without taking it apart, because with a person on each end, you can "fold" the tent flat bringing the poles together. If you wanted to use it on the ground, I'd probably recommend a tarp because any sharp sticks or rocks may rip the material, plus you'd feel them. The bottom of the tent is very thin, made of the same material as the rest of the tent. Over all, we love it, it's easy, light weight, easily transported, even carried while assembled, has a removable rain cover so you can enjoy the stars on a clear night. Well worth the price. I'm happy with it.UPDATE: I put the tent on the back deck again for another movie night "campout" with my daughter. I left it there overnight to continue the next day. I got up in the morning and it was gone. It was VERY windy, and I didn't have it tied down, so it turns out it blew away. It crossed my yard, flew over my fence, tumbled across the street, around a huge tree, past three more properties and over another chain link fence where I found it in someone's back yard. The rope had caught on the fence and stopped it from going further, so I was able to fish it back over the fence. I carried it back home on my back, wind still blowing hard, filling the still erected tent with air like a kite, and nearly carrying me away with it. I'm a little embarrassed to think neighbors might have saw me, a middle aged woman carrying a fully erected tent on my back, turning me into a human kite on a windy day. I put it back on my deck, this time tying it down, and wouldn't you know it, it didn't even have a single rip in it. Still in PERFECT condition after the ordeal it went through! I love this tent.

Inexpensive doesn't equal "cheap"
Overall this tent is a great value for the money. My camping situation:We camped in North Texas in October. It was pretty cold in the evenings (about 40 degrees) and the tent was a bit chilly at times. The main reason for this was that the vented area at the top of the tent does not completely close. I know this is not a design unique to this tent, but in 40 degrees and 20mph winds, I think it makes a big difference. However, having said that, the tent held up incredible well considering the punishing winds it endured. We had all stakes put out and the tent never faltered or ripped or flattened even though I'm pretty sure there were occasional gusts of up to 40mph. Sadly I did not get a chance to see how the tent did in the rain as it was dry our entire trip right up until the morning of the last day. By then we'd already torn the tent down to begin packing. Overall I think the tent did really well and I might have pushed it a bit beyond what it was designed for in temperatures, but I was really impressed. The seams seem strong and the zippers do as well. It's easy to put up and down, even in the challenging wind and it's pretty light for as large as it opens up to. I think my sons and I will get considerable use out of it.

Good value for the price.
I've had it out on a few outings now. Relatively easy to put up. I like the poles on the outside. 2p size is perfectly covered by a 3x5m tarp which gives you a vestibule area. (3x3 was just a bit short). So far the durability has held up in cold and rain. I discovered a small hole in the back screen today, but that was probably user induced. I wish the screens went lower on at least one of the sides. This thing will keep you warm and dry. For the $, you honestly can't go wrong. The 2p will be somewhat snug for 2ppl but is an absolute dream for one. I can fit my cot along with all my gear and even have room for a small heater to warm it up b4 I sleep. The pack down size is manageable. I did get better stakes as the ones that come with it are hot garbage.

Makes the perfect indoor fort! Exactly what we were looking for!
Our 3 sons wanted a “fort” in the toy room for reading, relaxing, playing their tablets, & of course overnight sleepovers. I’ve purchased countless different teepees & hated each one of them for different reasons- too small, tip over easily (my boys are wild), cheap quality etc. So when I saw this 6 person tent for under $100 with great reviews, I figured I’d give it a shot. Took it out of the package & had it assembled within 5 minutes. Super easy & nice quality. I ordered a 6x9 grey shag rug to make it a comfy area for them to lay & play and it fit perfectly. They absolutely LOVE their new “fort” & have been relaxing in there all day. Very happy with my purchase. It’s exactly what I had hoped for!I can’t speak to how well it will hold up outside, because we obviously are not using it for that at this time, but it seems well made & sturdy. Oh & did I mention that it’s SUPER lightweight & comes in a very compact carrying bag?! Perfect for camping trips where you have 50 million other things to carry. Don’t hesitate, just buy it! I’m extremely picky & read thousands of reviews before ordering anything, so trust me when I say it won’t disappoint.

Loved this tent!
Loved this tent! Used it last year for a horse camping trip. It set up fairly easy, the only thing that would have made it easier was to have clips that clip onto the poles, which is what they showed in the picture, instead of having to feed the poles all the way through the sleeves. The clips shown on the picture of the tent was the only reason I bought this particular tent. We never had any rain or wind so not sure about water resistance or weatherproof, but it felt like it would have held up to a storm. I would buy this tent again!
