Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 4G 64GB Blue Dual-SIM

Speaking as an iPhone 5s user looking to replace a sluggish phone (due to latest update!) I was looking for a new phone that was in my price range, with good battery life and an excellent camera. This phone delivered on all points. I'm really happy with my purchase. I fully charged it two days ago and since then I've been online loads, taken tons of photos, watched video clips, played games etc. and now 48 hours later I'm thinking maybe I should recharge it soon. I love the fact that you can set the phone to turn off while you're asleep and on again just before your alarm goes off, great energy saving feature. Feels high spec. I love it!

I've had a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 18 months and wanted a change and it was between this and a Mi A3 and I'm so glad I picked this phone. It is as fast, if not a little bit faster than my old Note 9 (not even exaggerating) and the speaker is look and I don't have a problem with the software. Pros :- Battery life is insane Speaker is surprisingly quite good Phone calls are clear and I'm glad it uses Google's own software for them Once you get the hang of it, MIUI is very good and fresh compared to One UI. Cons :- Ads, ads everywhere but they easy to turn off Phone does get hot while playing games, not too hot but it is noticeable It is on the Global Rom so it is running Android 9 so if you want Android 10 you will be waiting a little while Overall a very good phone, easily one of the best I've had and apart from a few of the cons, which are bound to happen at this price, there is nothing really I can complain about as the cons are really little niggles witch can be fixed.

Bought this as an update to my umidigi S3 pro mainly as an emulation device I won't review the phone features in detail suffice to say it operates fast and efficiently and takes good snaps. As an emulation device it's excellent running psp and GC games almost entirely at full speed even demanding games like Mario sunshine and God of war for this price amazing. Like the S3 the screen is ltps so it looks bright and sharp and colours are good all round a very good device for emulation and gaming. There is a comprehensive gaming mode that restricts background apps to improve performance and the screen has improved sensitivity. If the mediatek soc worries you forget the may sayers that's all in the past with the p60 and p70 they were already on an upward curve driver support is getting better the g90t is a beast oh and it doesn't go over 45 degrees when gaming at this price this chipset at the mo is unrivalled.

Overall very happy with phone and does what i need it to. The screen is bright and the speaker and microphone are good quality. It picks up on my "Hey Google" commands from across the kitchen even when the kettle and extractor are on full blast, which was impressive. I opted for the 128GB version becasue my previous phone ran out of memory for apps. Shouldnt be an issue with this one for a couple years. I also like that you can actively select the camera lens that is being used. Some of the other phones i tested and looked at reviews about said that camera lens selection was automatic, but on this phone you have full manual control. It means you can be sure of getting the widest or the highest quality shot possible if you really want it. For my work, i really wanted to make sure i could take the widest photos possible so this was important. Only think i would say, is get a custom launcher app like Nova so you can hide a lot of app that you cant uninstall. Also i'm not a massive fan of the notification tray, it is a bit spaced out and doesnt allow swipe to dismiss notifiaction in both directions, just one way. Very minor niggle, but i was used to being able to to it in both directions, so this will jsut be something i need to get used to. Other minor irritant is the silicon case it comes with has a flap over the USB-C port, which i guess is great for stopping hair and fluff getting in there, but makes it a nightmare to plug in each night for charging. If it was wireless charging capable, then this wouldnt be an issue, but since this phone is NOT capable of wireless charging, i have cut off the little flap to make access easier.

Runs android great - runs apps like Pokemon Go and PubG on highest and doesnt get too hot. It has game-turbo boost modes too - that I dont use - which makes the phone focus on the game instead of other processes. The android software skin is really clean and nice. The news panel on the left of the home screen loads quickly and suggests relevant news articles, but the phone supports any widgets from other news apps. With apps like Facebook messenger - that have android "apps displaying over apps" permanent notifications - you can ACTUALLY turn these notifications off - unlike on Huawei phones Phone takes really nice pictures and has a good amount of pro mode settings to take really good photos with the macro lens. You can get super close to objects to get some extra HD pictures - it would be amazing with a phone stabilising tripod Without a case - this is gorgeous

A great phone especially for it's price. Feels very top end. The chipset can run top games like Fortnite and Call of Duty so that's good. Battery life lasts up to two days for me so some nights I go to sleep without putting it on charge and it's 50% the next day lasting all day. It first felt very much like an iPhone but on Android. All apps will appear on the home screen like iOS does. After the Android 10 update, you have the ability to enable the app drawer to make it feel more like an Android phone. The camera also has iPhone style features like Portrait and Studio mode seem to be a direct copy of these and these features work really well. It seems the Camera also has Google's camera algorithms as well so picture quality is very good.

Seit einigen Monaten benutzte ich nun dieses Smartphone. Es ist das erste Mal das ich selbst ein Xiaomi gekauft habe. Habe zuvor nur Gutes gelesen und auch von Bekannten gehört. Nun hat mich mein altes Smartphone im Stich gelassen und es war gerade so, das ich nicht viel Geld übrig hatte um mir ein super neues Mainstraim-Teil zu kaufen ;-) Da ich Aktien von Xiaomi halte, dachte ich mir das ich mir so ein Smartphone mal holen sollte. Denn vom Unternehmen selbst bin ich überzeugt. Nun fiel die Wahl auf das Redmi Note 8 pro. Und ja, es ist definitiv ein tolles Smartphone für relativ wenig Geld. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut gelungen. Die Kameras sind extrem gut und man kann sehr gute Fotos und Videos damit machen. Hier steht es seinen teuren Konkurrenten im Nichts nach. Das Display ist sehr gut und riesig. Trotz des riesigen Displays und Prozessors in diesem Smartphone, es ist wirklich für Gamer geeignet... wahnsinnige Geschwindkeit, hält der Akku sehr lange! Ich bin wirklich ein Vielnutzer, mache mit dem Smartphone alles, Videos, Bilder, Spiele, Apps, Lesen, Onlineartikel lesen und schreiben... Und ich lade das Handy ungefähr alle 1,5 Tage, so pauschal kann man es nicht sagen. Wenn man das Phone weniger nutzt, kann der Akku durchaus zwei oder drei Tage halten. Absolut im machbaren Rahmen. Noch was zum Display, die Wassertropfen-Notch ist für mich als ehemaliger Samsung-Nutzer etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und manchmal ist die Notch wirklich unpraktisch, gerade bei Bildern. Aber man kann sich durchaus daran gewöhnen. Das einzige, was mir nicht so gefällt, das ist die hervorstehende Kameralinse auf der Rückseite des Smartphones. Was jedoch durch eine geeignet Schutzhülle aufgefangen werden kann. Wenn man das Smartphone nun auf den Tisch legt, dann liegt es nicht direkt auf der Linse der Kamera. Also alles zu regeln, mit wenig Aufwand ;-) Es kam bei mir Öfter mal vor, dass das Handy die Simkarte nicht erkannt hat. Aber nach einem Neustart des Systems funktionierte auch das wieder. Alles im Allen kann man sagen, ein Top Gerät der Mittelklasse. Absolut zu empfehlen, gute Qualität, super Akku und Preis! Ich kann dieses Smartphone und den Herstellter im Allgemeinen nur empfehlen, was ich auch immer mache. Nun haben bereits viele meiner Freunde, Bekannte und Familienangehörigen sich ein Smartphone von Xiaomi gekauft.

El nuevo Redmi Note 8 Pro es un teléfono de gama media, y que destaca por tener una relación calidad-precio imbatible. Tiene de todo, buenas especificaciones, y a un precio que no tiene rival. La pantalla es lo que más destaca del teléfono, pues es de 6,53" lo que hace que cubra casi todo el frontal del teléfono. La pantalla cubre exactamente el 84% del frontal del terminal, lo que es más que el iPhone 11/Pro (80%), con el que guarda muchas semejanzas. La pantalla tiene una resolución de 1080 x 2340, lo que hace que tenga una densidad (píxeles por pulgada) mayores que los del iPhone 11. Aunque la pantalla sea muy grande, el teléfono sea prácticamente igual de grande que un móvil de los de antes de 5,5". Con 6GBs de memoria RAM es más que suficiente para hacer cualquier tarea pesada. El procesador MTK Helio G90T de 8 núcleos es la nueva generación de procesadores MediaTek, empresa que destacó hace unos años por ofrecer procesadores para móviles chinos de bajo rendimiento pero baratos. Esta nueva generación de procesadores MTK no tiene nada que ver, pues son potentes y no tienen nada que envidiar a los SnapDragon actuales. Aunque está enfocado a juegos, sirve perfectamente para cualquier tarea y es suficientemente potente. La cámara (son 4 cámaras en realidad) es también una de las más equilibradas del mercado actual, incorporando un sensor Samsung de 64 megapíxeles y una apertura de f/1.9. Las otras cámaras (gran angular 0.6X, macro y retrato) tienen 8, 2 y 2 megapíxeles respectivamente. No tiene estabilizador óptico de imagen. En cuanto a la cámara frontal para selfies, es de 20 megapixels. La cámara principal tiene LED/flash, HDR+, IA, y todos los demás ajustes comunes estos días. Tiene cámara lenta a 960fps. También graba video 4K a 30fps y tiene time-lapse. Lo mejor de todo es que se le puede instalar la Google Cam, o gCam, que es la app de cámara de los teléfonos de google, que mejora mucho la calidad de las fotos, especialmente con su modo nocturno (night sight). La gCam también permite tomar fotos en modo esfera (360 grados). Tiene sensor de huella dactilar en la parte trasera y reconocimiento facial, que funciona muy bien y muy rápido, incluso con poca luz. Tiene un pequeño LED de notificaciones en el "notch" superior (más bien es una gota, pues es bastante pequeño comparado con otros). Tiene 2 ranuras para 2 SIMs nano-SIM, y se puede usar una de ellas para poner una tarjeta microSD y ampliar así el almacenamiento del teléfono de manera barata (no se pueden poner 2 SIM + una tarjeta microSD). Tiene jack de 3,5mm para auriculares y se carga mediante USB-C. Tiene puerto de infrarrojos (IR), radio FM, GPS dual y NFC, todavía poco común en terminales de gama media. Además, el puerto USB-C es OTG, lo que significa que podemos conectar un pendrive USB (con el cable o adaptador adecuado) y acceder a los contenidos del pendrive desde el móvil. Los botones de volumen y encender/apagar están todos en el lateral derecho del teléfono, en el lado izquierdo está la bandeja para las tarjetas SIM o microSD, y se necesita la herramienta o un clip para sacarla. La batería es de 4.500 mAh y dura bastante, más de un día con un uso normal. Tiene carga rápida pero no tiene carga inalámbrica. Tiene certificación IP52, lo que significa que soporta polvo y algunas gotas de agua, pero no es estanco (IP67). El teléfono viene en versión global, lo que significa que tiene idioma español y que el teléfono se actualiza a menudo (Xiaomi saca bastantes actualizaciones para sus terminales). Al sacarlo de la caja me encontró 2 actualizaciones, las instalé con 1 click y sin problemas y ahora tengo Android 9 (Pie) en el terminal. No hay que cambiarle ROMs ni hacerle nada raro, tal como se saca de la caja se empieza a usar normalmente, todo funciona perfecto. Tiene MIUI 11, que es la capa de personalización de Android hecha por Xiaomi, y que tiene sus cosas buenas y malas, todo es acostumbrarse a ellas. Este modelo además, no incorpora las apps stock de MIUI para llamadas/teléfono, contactos y SMS, sino que usa las apps de Google (esto no es un fallo, sino que Xiaomi lo ha tenido que quitar por problemas entre China y EEUU). Es libre, lo que significa que está desbloqueado para poder usarlo con cualquier compañía telefónica y es totalmente compatible con las bandas usadas en España para 3G, 4G y 4G+ / LTE. Viene con una funda pero es muy delgada y no protege bien el teléfono, es recomendable comprar otra funda más gruesa y que proteja bien la pantalla y los bordes del móvil. Incluye cargador rápido y cable USB-C. En definitiva un móvil muy equilibrado, con funcionalidades de gama alta y a un precio más que bueno. No puedo pensar en ningún otro terminal que ofrezca tanto por este precio. Ah! Y llegó en 12 horas!

This phone is awesome I hated my old Motorola since the frist week. This phone is better at everything. I love this one so far. I was skeptical but feel like i made great decission buying this one. My son paid twice as much for a mid range Moto. Almost identical expect this is half the cost and the buttons work better on mine. The Helio is better than his snapdragon. I really am pleased with this phone. everything seems to do how It should. Whereas my old phone was just annoying from the get go. The software is loaded, organized and very useful which is a big plus compared to the garbage Moto had. I will never suggest anyone buy a Moto when Xiaomi can do much better for much cheaper. . Moto is a copy kat and a bad one.. Xaiomi is mking great phones without over charging us. Never again Moto!

Es un teléfono que esta envejeciendo muy bien pues ya tiene poco mas de un año que se lanzó. El dual SIM funciona muy bien y con la bamda B28 Para la red compartida de ALTAN en Mx va muy bien. Si bien la cámara tiene una IA bastante intrusiva, en el modo manual se tiene mas control del balance de blancos. Funciona con OTG asi que no debemos preocuparnos por una MicroSD. Si puedes conseguir la version con 128GB es mejor! La pantalla es su punto débil y sobre todo si vienes de una OLED o AMOLED. Sin embargo, no es un dealbraker y es una muy buena opción si puedes conseguirlo por debajo de los 4mil.
