I used this to cut and reconnect an extension lead so that I could get power to the opposite side of my bedroom. This involved passing the cable through the length of a built in wardrobe and down the external wall. Normally I would have removed the plug and fed the cable along the length of the wardrobe but this allowed me to simply drill a hole in either side of the wardrobe and feed the cable through from both ends. It was simply a quick fit to connect the two halves using the Wago connector to reconnect the 2 halves inside the wardrobe and power restored with minimum fuss. You get 2 connectors in the pack so there's a spare for when you accidentally cut through a cable too so it is good value for money and the Wago design inside the screwed connector means it's simple to use. The screw seems secure and holding so I am very happy and would recommend having one of these for any emergency electrical reconnections whether by design like mine or following an accidental cable break.

These seem well made, and should be quite water resistant. Not used yet.

These are a good simple and effective way of connecting cables. I haven't however tested the waterproof claims but so far in normal use there have been no problems or cause for concern so I would say these do the job well

This worked exactly as advertised. Very easy to install using the instructions on the Amazon order page (could have done with a printed version included, but not a biggie). It seems very secure once correctly tightened, and build quality is good.

Easy to install water tight value for money

I purchased this item to install a security light, about 10 foot up a wall. I thought that the screwless connector block, and hand tightened glands would be easier to use whilst up a ladder. As it turned out, that was the case. The only reservation I have is, that I'm glad I bought two. On my first attempt, I broke off one of the orange levers on the block, rendering it unusable. I also ruined the yellow silicon gasket by over-tightening the connector, distorting the gasket, despite the fact I only tightened it by hand, and the instructions stating it should be tightened using a tool. On the second attempt, I was more careful, and achieved an excellent result, which appears so far to be waterproof and looks very professional. Lesson learned, treat with a bit of care and you will get a good result from a good quality product.
