Will it work with tcl smart tv? And spectrum cable?

Don't know what a TCL Smart TV is but.... Mom has Spectrum. Basic TV, not a smart TV (she thinks "they" are watching her!) Took a bit of work to program it the first time but it works great! I was quickly able to make a change to one of the buttons so mom could watch Cheesy Christmas Movies! It will be easy to change it back!

I can connect the remote to my TV fine but no such luck connecting to the cable box?

Sorry, I feel your pain. The same story here. We were able to get connected with TV, learn volume buttons but not channels and going to return.

Can the Chanel up and down button program more than 5 Chanel’s?

Yes. Channel Up and Down will cycle through the channels unless you program more than 5 favorite channels, then it will cycle only thru the favorites.

Does this work with new 2020 Hisense TV?
