Hated fruit cake with a passion till I discovered Grsandma’sFruit Cake. By Beatrice Bakery. They absolutely do not skimp on the ingredients. It is stuffed full of dried fruit and nuts. A bit more $$ but none better. Moist and a good taste of rum or amaretto. Corn Huskers hit it out of the park on this one.

I despise fruit cake!!! WAIT..... Until I sampled a piece at a Christmas party a couple years back. This is a must at our house now. It's the perfect amaretto flavor,nice assortment of fruits and nuts. Make sure your order it in the tin. I didn't and this year it came flat as a flitter. It was really squished so bad you couldn't eat it. I still give it a 5 because it's that good.

This is a good fruitcake with none of those candied cherries. The only thing I would have liked better is walnuts or pecans instead of the almonds this cake comes with. It was well packaged and fresh. Just the right size for one person..

It's a bit pricey, but it's really yummy!

The cake looked completely unappetizing and squashed. There is no way I would serve it to holiday guests. This is a complete disappointment. It looked mushy. Completely disappointing. You can have it back.

A lot smaller than I expected for a pound but it had too much nuts and fruit and very little cake which was mushy that made it weigh a pound, didn’t taste any alcohol. It wasn’t what I was looking for and will not be buying it again.

Extremely good product. Unfortunately it took 2 months to arrive. Well actually it took about 2 weeks for the first box to arrive but two months more for the second box to arrive. They made a mistake and only sent one box in the beginning even though I ordered two. Then when they sent the second box of fruitcake, they sent it to somebody many hours away from me. Finally I got the second box of fruit cake; although instead of it arriving in a 3 day rush order, it was a week or two beyond that when I got it. The cakes their self are delicious. High quality!! Unfortunately the company made the errors I mentioned.

This fruitcake was crazy amazing in every possible way. Moist, delicious, full of fruit, and the alcohol was not overpowering. Just Perfect. It's not big, and I ate it in 2 days by myself.... lol. The downside is if you are dieting, you can just forget it.Off to order the 2 lb regular fruitcake from this company to try. Hope it's as good as this Amaretto one!
