Q: Does it come with the headboard ?

The model i ordered was supposed to come with a headboard, however when I received my bed the headboard was not included even though the packaging showed a headboard on the outside of the box. Apparently this particular bed has two models one with a headboard and one without. Apparently my bed with the headboard i ordered was out if stock so they sent .me the one without. I contacted the seller and asked for the headboard which was no longer available. I was not happy. I ended up with a free bed. I just would have pteferred the headboard which is what I wanted. I refused to return the bed as I had already hauled it up 14 sets of stairs almost injuring myself in the process andvi refused to take it back downstairs and try to pack it up andvreturn it.

Q: Did anyone else have wood screws and no pre-drilled holes for them to go in?

Every pre-drilled hole had a wood screw. There were some slats that were not pre-drilled and did not come with screws but I chose to drill them and install my own wood screws. This way each slat had a screw at each end. Very sturdy.

Q: Does anyone know if this bed frame has a strong off gassing smell, or more specifically if the frame or headboard is sealed with formaldehyde?

Not sure about the formaldehyde, but certainly no smell, I put it together the day it came in the mail and it was fine.
