Why this is an excellent Karambit
I've been involved with the Martial Arts for 33+ years and I'm a Silat practitioner among other arts. I have purchased 3 of these blades in the last couple of years, that should tell you how much I love them. I am as picky as they come when it comes to weapons, I refuse to waste money on inferior products. I will send back anything I purchase that ends up being unworthy for combat. I'm a retired Soldier now but I still demand the best quality and price for weapons. Some people don't really know weapons as good as they think they do. The larger ring on this karambit is big enough to drop a quarter flat through it, what does that mean? It means this ring size is taking into account that you may have gloves on. In war that means your combat glove will fit just fine through the ring and if you have on a winter glove you can still use the retention ring. Again its goal is retention so its not suppose to slide off with ease. Some people don't know weapons as good as they think, so they like to spin these karambit blades and look fancy, so when they get a fine quality karambit like this one they complain the ring is to sharp their soft, un-calloused hands can't spin and twirl this karambit like a nunchaku, boo hoo, its not supposed to be twirled. This is a beautiful, strong double edged Karambit, its larger then a traditional karambit which is great if you have big hands and your not using it a concealed weapon. Not that you can't conceal it but the smaller traditional ones were hidden in women's longer hair, in bra lining, in the sarongs etc. this is not one of those, you wear it on your hip. Lastly, some reviewer complained that their was tool steal in this Karambit as they had an expert they trusted examine it. This is hilarious, it says 15N20 right in the description, there are six groups of tool steel and generally 4 types, tool steel is a carbon alloy steel that holds the edge well and retains its shapes in extreme temperature, so, that is not be a bad thing at all, as this friends so called expert claimed. Your expert is probably upset you didn't buy something from him.Lastly, these blades are functional, they last, they cut, they stab, they rip, they trap, they hook, twist and butt with the best of them. They are highly functional, heavy duty Karambits you can bet your life on. I highly recommend these blades. Remember to get one for each hand and an extra one so you can give as a gift to your best friend or girlfriend. Nothing makes a better valentines day gift then a romantic Karambit blade, it says I love you and I want you to always be safe and at the same time saying I will never cheat on you lol.

Excellent workmanship and quality
I ordered a pair of these for myself, and my girlfriend. I was absolutely shocked at how great the quality was for the price. Very well balanced, and even though they weren't incredibly sharp out of the box, that can easily be addressed. The level of workmanship, and the overall quality of these blades is superb. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting a nice, high quality, but still practical karambit.

Helluva blade for a helluva price!
Good, solid, HEAVY, very sharp blade. The craftsmanship ship really showsThe blade has good balance and spins from the finger-ring nicely. It even comes with it's own honing tool...which is a nice touch. The only drawback is the sheath. While it is sturdy, and well made, it's construction does not lend itself for a proper right-handed draw. A proper grip on the blade would be; blade toward the elbow, with the curve facing outward, and the sheath does not sit on the hip to allow the blade to be drawn that way.UPDATE: I had a reverse grip sheath made for it at Poncho Vega's in Tombstone. It came out beautifully with a snap closed belt loop that also allows me to hook it onto my EDC bag, if I need to. The leathersmith even thought to add a quick-release snap to the retaining strap to make drawing the weapon quickly, even easier (making it a skull was his idea, and I totally approve). Now I love my karambit even more.Overall, a good bargan, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Not bad for the money.
Very nice Krambit for the price.More display than function though. It was sharp-ish out of the box but not scary sharp. I like scary sharp, just sayin'. The finger hole was pretty uncomfortable due to having squared edges. A few min with a dremel tool fixed that though. My biggest disappointment though was the sheath. Nice leather & construction but simply useless carry position if you wanted to carry this thing. Because of how the belt loop is positioned it's impossible to draw & slash as a krambit is designed to do. Still I think I got my money's worth.

VERY SHARP EDGE
The Damascus is beautiful. Very well made. The mosaic pin is beautifully done. The Handle is flawless and gets really well. One thing that could be better...The finger ring on the back of the handle has sharp edges from forging. I smoothed them down with a file, but that should have been caught by the smith.

Great looking knife. Heirloom worthy.
It was a gift for my son. It looks great and well crafted. Leather sheath is sturdy and a nice addition. I just wish the box it came in wasn't so cheap looking. The knife will present well.

Do not buy
I bought this karambit about two weeks ago and it arrived with a used sheath. I assume it has been sitting on a display for a while since the button it self was really lose and the leather around it super wrinkled and creased. That is not the biggest issue. The biggest issue is that the blade itself, after only two weeks, with no use is about 90% rusted. Terrible quality. Do not recommend buying this product or any other products from this seller.

Display piece
I only display this so I'm not gonna say anything about the blade, the handle is comfortable but the ring doesn't fully fit my finger, doesn't really matter. Craftsmanship is beautiful and a pleasure to look at
