This is a great deal at 4 cents per plate- I've found most stores have 50 plates for $5.00- 10 cents per plate.They are not sold as a sturdy plate, but we use them to serve pie slices and cake- they work great!

No, they're not super-thick, strong plates, but they work great for when you just need something small for a donut or a muffin, to cover a bowl in the microwave, in place of a cutting board for one small task...so many uses! Inexpensive enough that using them won't break the bank and they have no waxy coating.

Works for what I need it for
I use these as mini cutting boards (for light ingredient prep). Keeps my counter cleaner and more sanitary. I can throw away after use. Also nice for a sandwich etc... but keep in mind, they are thinner than most paper plates.
