Well written with just the right pace from skill to skill
Well-written music, instructions, and additional creative ideas. The bottom of each page in the Technique, Performance, and Theory books state what page in Lesson book coordinates with that particular page. The progression of skills is at a good pace, not too slow or too fast. I definitely recommend the Faber series for this level.

What I don't like about this set is that in order to gwt the student ready for the accelerated series, a student either needs prior music experience or I have to use a primer well below their age level. A Chapter at the beginning of the book bringing the student up to speed would be ideal.
