Exactly what I needed.

Attractive and noticeable
This coin mechanism needs a12 volt power source. When powered, the LED lights around the perimeter can be set to change colors or be a static color. Coins need to have enough weight to pass. I initially tried a 3d printed coin but it was too light. I bought some faux-gold play coins off of Amazon, brand called Hanaive, and they work perfectly. This mechanism, while having a plastic face, looks pretty good with the matte face lit up by the surrounding LED light.
