Good service from seller
Update: After reading my review the seller has offered me a refund on this product which I have accepted. Thanks for that. This tape has hardly any tack to it. I bought gaffers tape specifically because it has strong adhesion but this tape is no stronger than scotch tape. It says on the package that is supposed to have strong tack to it so I am thinking they sold me something that was old and dried up, but this is not the gaffers tape that I know.

Seal proof
As an e-commerce merchant this tape does the trick when sending packages in the mail. Boxes are sealed tightly to ensure the contents remain in tact. The adhesion makes sticking to the cardboard boxes easy.

Sticky with no residue left
Works good. It's wide enough to be applied over cable or extension cords. It's a woven material with a little bit of protection but not a lot. It is sticky and is easy to remove without leaving a residue

Sticks Well, Leaves No Gummy Residue Behind
I've been using Gaffers Tape for a couple of years or more. In the past I've bought ~2" wide tape. This time I looked for wider tape since I was running double lengths of ~2" tape. I use it to keep extension cords safe on the floor at train shows. This ~4" wide tape is the same great stuff I've been buying (same brand) but the extra width means I only need one length to hold down the wire. Even though this cost more per linear foot, it saves money because less linear feet are needed. This tape is recommended in whatever width works for you.

Stuck to Itself, and That's About It
This gaff tape would not stick to cables, pipe and drapes poles, carpet, or tile. It sure stuck to itself, though. Within a few hours of pavement, it was already peeling off and became a mess. We had not even started our event yet, and the tape was already loose and tangled up, as shown in the photos. This is the first gaff tape that I've had do this.
