The Mountain Briefcase is the ultimate shape-changing, go to work, bum around town, travel the world, do-it-all everyday carry. Topo Designs took the silhouette of a classic briefcase, kept all the good looks and buttoned up styling needed for any business meeting, and added enough functionality to throw it on your back and head outside as soon as business is done. They have engineered it for a 3-way carry system, which allows for a traditional two handle briefcase style, as a backpack with stowable straps, or over the shoulder with a removable shoulder strap. The interior has a large main compartment, padded laptop sleeve with velcro closure, zippered storage pocket, pen slots, and open top notebook pocket. The exterior has a zippered notebook pocket and the base has two cinch straps that can hold a rain jacket or those blueprints to your solar powered geodesic dome. Made in USA.

Retro and Sturdy.
Great retro styling. Very sturdy construction. It's on the slimmer / smaller side which is what I was going for. Fits my 15-in Think Pad and iPad Air 2 perfectly with some room to spare for documents. There are some pockets for storage but it could use some additional storage & zippered pockets. Overall very satisfied with the bag.

Good commuter bag
Looks great and is incredibly functional for work. Can wear it on the train and around the city as a backpack, and then carry it into a meeting with. O one any wiser. Cordura fabric is awesome; black on black version.

The perfect bag!
This bag is incredible! I'm so happy I decided to purchase it for my boyfriend. He loves the versatility of the straps- either as a messenger, backpack, or briefcase style bag. The quality is exceptional- fabric, zippers, construction, design. etc. Its the perfect bag for someone who prioritizes function, but wants a little mountain style too. And the navy/leather combo is even better looking that I thought. A+ Topo Designs!
