We use this in our entry way to cover an ugly tile medallion in the floor. It is not soft under the feet but I like the texture and look of this rug. No smell and lays nicely! No shedding and seems to be good quality so far!

I BOUGHT THIS RUG AND SHIPPED IT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND THE COMPANY NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY AND ONE DAY ON AMAZON IT SHOWED REFUNED RECEIVED AND ONCE I DISPUTED THE CHARGE BECAUSE I NEVER GOT MY MONEY AFTER A MONTH THEY CHANGED THE STATUS TO REFUND STARTED. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!

I love this rug. I was going for a boho cozy light airy homey feel to my living room and this rug completed that. The only small complaint I have is that there is no backing underneath so it skids a lot on the smooth hardwood floor. However I’m assuming this is because it’s a handmade rug, which is understandable. If you are looking for a soft plush rug, this is not it. But it’s also not a rough rug like an outdoor rug or a jute rug. I would say it’s kind of in the middle leaning more towards a raw wool feel but everything is very tightly made so there is no worry of pilling etc. It seems high quality and durable.

After using this rug for a while, really impressed with it. First off, like how heavy it is. No problems with having to straighten or reposition all the time.It stays put. And I love the look. The runner size I bought is very nice for a textured rug-over-rug decor look. Very natural and rustic. And found that it could be washed if needed!! Our senior dog was recently very ill and messed on it accidently. So I took it outside, sprayed it off, scrubbed the whole rug with laundry detergent, rinsed off the soap, then laid it out in the sun to dry. I thought it would be ruined. But amazingly, it looks about the same!!! It might have shrunk a bit, but can't really tell the difference much at all. So impressed, bought another one. But this rug is definitely rustic. So not for someone who wants a more polished look.

We purchased this area rug in April 2023. I was ready to return it but my wife wanted to keep it. We are retired with no kids or dogs. The rug does not get daily use. After routine vacuuming the rug is fraying. There are sharp pieces of wood mixed in the weave that we continually cut out. The rug weave seems to bu loosening. It’s to bad because it’s a very attractive rug. I would not buy this again.

The weave of this rug is beautiful, but the color is very inaccurate. We ordered it in ivory, and when it arrived, it was baby yellow. I've added photos so that you can see a white piece of paper against it.

I ordered the beige and it is outstanding. 100% wool. Gorgeous variations of different neutral colors. I ordered a few rugs from Amazon before I settled on this one. It is the 4th Safavieh rug I have owned…. I have come to rely on their quality and design. Finally found the perfect natural fiber rug! The best part is, I ordered it as “Like New” since someone else decided to return it so I got the 5x8 for $130! They must have just looked at it without even unwrapping it and sent it back…. Win for me!

This picture is just part of the many pieces of wood found in my rug. I have stepped on many splinters and have resulted to running my hand over every part of the rug and pulling out many, many, many pieces of wood. Now I feel like I can’t even go on the rug without shoes on. Very disappointed!!
