Sony BCTRX Battery Charger for X/G/N/D/T/R and K Series Batteries (Black)

The rather large size of this charger does not bother me. I have several digital cameras and they come with chargers that dwarf this one. I am also able to charge my Kindle or my cell phone with this so it is very versatile and reduces the number of chargers I have to have available or carry around. The USB output is rated at 1.5A at 5V.It is important to make sure the mechanism on the left of the charger is set for the type of battery to be charged. In one position, the guides are set to correctly route the X or G battery into charging position. The other switch position is for N, D, T, R, and K batteries. This switch is easy to overlook, and may be the cause of some user's difficulty in getting the battery positioned correctly for charging to start.I find that inserting the G or X type battery is simple and the charge starts every time. (I don't have other sized Sony batteries to compare.) Charging time for the batteries I use is about 2 hours and seems reasonable to me. The charger includes a very substantial leaflet of operating instructions that is comprehensive and covers, it seems, every conceivable aspect of this charger's functions and capabilities. It is sandwiched between the cardboard in the blister pack and could be overlooked if you are not looking for it.I have only one complaint about this charger and that is its packaging. I feel that this blister pack is one of the more frustrating to open packages I have had the misfortune to encounter. The many welded together pegs that must be cut are very tenacious. I recommend trying utility scissors instead of a knife in the interest of safety and retention of sanity.

Have to have a charger on late notice, and it was hard to find this one (I wound up buying the last one on Amazon at the time). Excellent charger, dependable, and exactly what i had to have.

I am just a point and shoot kinda photographer and decided to buy a camera for vacation as I did not want to rely on my smartphone to capture every moment. I have only just begun to use this camera and I am amazed. I may not be a professional photographer but I do know a quality image when I see one. With no effort I was able to take all kinds of pictures with no flaws. The features are also mind blowing for such a little camera. So far I am in love with this cameras ability to take close up shots and the sweeping panaramic option which allows for a perfect panaramic picture in a mere couple seconds. I cannot believe the technology that went into this. Also love that the screen flips up for selfie shots....Just make sure screen is all the way up and against camera and the image automatically reverses so you can see the shot right side up while shooting ;-)I will update as I use camera more....Perfect camera for someone who wants the best of everything crammed into a small device that would fit in almost anyone's pocket and doesn't mind investing the money.

An excellent external quick charger if you bought an extra battery for your RX-100. This can substitute for the brick adaptor that came with the RX-100 because it can charge your RX-100 via its enclosed USB cable. It's great if you have other Sony batteries because you can charge a whole host of other Sony batteries with it, too. The charging indicator clearly indicates empty, 1/3 full, 2/3 full, and full. Contrary to some other reviews, I have had no problems whatsoever fitting the RX-100 battery (NP-BX1) in this charger--it isn't finicky, too loose, or too tight. There are only three issues that prevent me from giving this product 5 stars: 1) It's relatively large for its function--we expect thinner and smaller power bricks these days; 2) The plug goes into the wall outlet only in 1 orientation, so if you have wall outlets installed perpendicular to the norm or are visiting overseas, you may have issues. Caveat: I tried this product on a 'weird' wall outlet, and the battery charged just fine. 3) You can't charge the battery in the charger AND the battery in your RX-100 via the USB cord at the same time--you have to choose between one or the other using the selector in front (why didn't I notice this when I was shopping for it?!). I initially thought that this was possible, but was quite disappointed when I found out that it couldn't, especially given its size. These 3 points aside, it does what it says it does quite well, and quickly charges up my RX-100's batteries quickly (about 2 hours per battery from empty to full).

GO EITHER WAY! I always keep the spare Sony Camera Batteries back up for my Sony Cybershot - but this plug in will blow you off the wall literally, with its lit up green charging LED to let you know how much your battery ( B, C, T, R, and X ) stands - IT'S A FAST CHARGER, flip it over for bigger Sony Cybershot Batteries or flip it down for smaller Batteries; plus you can charge one and then slide one down on the USB port from wall mount to recharge battery in camera as it comes with that too! Much better designed that what comes with Sony Cybershot, making it easier to carry along to travel. or you can use both recharger, one that came with Sony Cybershot camera (if yours did) and recharge that one and use this one to recharge all your back up batteries. I mark my Sony Batteries with 1, 2, 3, etc - so they get rotated and have a prolonged lifespan. I AM JUST SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SUPER FAST CHARGER THAT I USE IT ALL THE TIME NOW!

Great product, nice price, works perfect out from a box, ease to use, good manual instruction, what I like that a charger has a USB socket so you can use this charger as USB charger(but not at the same time, when it charging a battery)

El cargador es ideal cuando usas diferentes cámaras y las baterías son de diferentes series. Gracias a este cargador puedes recargar diferentes tipos de baterías en poco tiempo. Es una pena que sólo pueda recargar de una a la vez, dado que al usar la ranura para baterías, no es posible hacer uso del cable USB.Pequeña y única desventaja a mi parecer: es algo grande (pero ligero) como para transportar contigo durante todo el día.

Does exactly as ordered. Would definitely buy this again.

Llego rapido en perfecto estado en el tiempo que me informaron lo recomiendo ampliamente el cargador traba excelentemente y no le afecta ala batería
