This was easy to assemble. Looks great. Makes into a solid top table when not using the fire pit. I have it under a roof top pergola, and it works beautifully in the 12 x 12 space.

We moved and our patio has a roof covering it so we switched over to this from a wood burning firepit. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I wanted to wait until we used it a few times before I left a review and we've used it about 5 times now (for a few hours each time). It works perfectly. It looks awesome and matches our (faux) wicker furniture almost exactly. The top edge stays cool when the fire is lit so you can rest a cup on it (be careful w/plastic). The cover is thin but works well for us since ours is protected from the rain. We love the handy hanger on the side for the lid and the side panel is very secure but easy to pop off when it's time to open and close the gas.Ours starts up every time but we have 2 tips since this seems to be an issue for some.1. You have to make sure the entire ring is exposed. Don't cover it up w/the rocks, or the gas flow will be blocked and there won't be anything to ignite. The box sends 3x as many rocks as you need, so don't use all of them. After using it a few times some of the lava rocks did turn black but we have plenty left to replace them if we wanted to. I actually like how natural the lava rocks look (as opposed to the glass ones some replace them with).2. Turn the gas on and hold the knob down for a few seconds to let some flow out the top. It should fire right up when you click the ignite button.The flame is easy to control and actually gets pretty high at full open (over a foot tall). We like to keep it halfway between the ignite line and full open. It does kick off some heat if you're sitting pretty level with the top edge (we have a sectional surrounding it that seats 6 but if we added some adirondack chairs around it i'm not sure they'd feel the heat. We haven't tested it yet tho).Overall we are very impressed and we get so many compliments on it! For the price you really can't go wrong. I'm actually not even sure what makes a more expensive version worth the extra money because they all do the same exact thing, and this one comes w/a lid and a cover which not all do.

Seems to burn hot. Control dial does not have much difference between high and low. Overall good deal for a small fire table.

Easy to build, looks great with rest of furniture. Completes our new porch!

We received this firepit and started putting it together in the backyard the day it arrived. We discovered that it was missing an a part on the bottom which was important to keep the firepit sturdy. We were in touch with the Amazon and the company as I just wanted them to ship us the part. They told us to keep the firepit and they shipped us a brand new one. The customer service was excellent. As far as the firepit it serves our needs. It is the perfect color to complement our patio. There are times when it does not light with the switch but you can do it manually and that would not discouraged us from returning it. It has given us many nights and now years of enjoyment. Please note that this type of firepit will not keep you as warm as a wood burning firepit but so much easier and there is not smell of burning wood.

The media could not be loaded. * edit *** After the first Fall season of use, I still love it… But the reviews mentioning the igniter not working consistently are accurate. Sometimes it fires up right away, sometimes I have to bring out my own lighter. If you use your own lighter, do so with a lengthy light stick for safety. The rocks will likely be full of gas and the whole thing will flare up. That’s fine, just use common sense.Heat output is fine, it’s not meant to be used as a heater anyway. But it definitely will warm you up a little bit. Still love it, totally worth it! ****I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to put together. My husband did it, but it wasn’t a big ordeal.All the parts were there and in good condition.There are hidden hooks on one side so you can tuck the provided lid away when not in use, nice touch.It fired up right after a few ignition pushes and clicks as it said it would.We only used half the lava rocks provided. I may swap those out at some point for glass.I love the fact that it’s a table and plan to use it more when our new outdoor furniture set comes in.I will update if anything changes, but so far I’m incredibly pleased!

This fire pit comes with all the features I was looking for: concealed storage for the propane tank, a lid to create a full table top, convenient hooks to hang the lid while in use, and an included cover. The company takes great care in its packaging to prevent shipping damage. Every piece was protected, wrapped, and securely strapped. All parts were clearly labeled and assembly was straightforward. It’s easy to use and lights up as described. It’s perfect for our small patio and we are looking forward to spending many evenings with friends and family around the pit. You won’t find a better deal.
