Enjoyable
I love this character based series. Portrayed beautiful. Makes you think but you're still able to lose yourself in the plot.

Exceeded Expectations
This is a good series that exceeded our expectations. There's good chemistry between the protagonists. Our only complaint is that there are only two episodes. We wonder what the series has done for tourism in Bath.

Not sure how I missed this...
Really enjoyed the DVD of the series which was originally broadcast in March 2020 (I think). Maybe missed it with all the lockdown hoo-ha.Decent enough premise and good acting from the leads. Leaves me hoping for more episodes. Robert Lindsay of course is excellent in the guest role and pinches a lot of the scenes.More please ITV

Very enjoyable
I thought this series was very good. I like the interaction between the two main characters. At first she didn't think too much about him; but she soon learned that he was a good investigator.I have purchased many television dramas from the UK and I am saddened to not see more 'People of Color' in those series. The UK is not longer a 'one race' country; and I would love to see other races reflected in their movies and television show. And not just as 'wall paper' or 'side-kicks' but having leading roles.

NOTHING ESPECIALLY ORIGINAL BUT MODERATELY ENTERTAINING
Didn't come to this with any high expectations - after all, just how much further can the TV detective genre be stretched. However, whilst this didn't hit the heights, nor did it plumb the depths, and each episode provided an hour or so of reasonably engaging viewing. The plots wouldn't bear much scrutiny in the cold light of day (then that's true of most shows of this kind), but the production did just about enough to allow the viewer to suspend their disbelief. The mild-mannered and self-effacing DS Dodds made for an interesting change to the usual TV 'tecs, and there is potential for his relationship with his new and assertive boss to develop nicely if further programmes are made. In short, not the best TV cop show ever made, but certainly not the worst.

More Please!!
We liked everything. The plots, the humour, the Intriguing mis-matched leading roles was interesting and pleasurable all the way through. The guest actors were top class! Our only disappointed is that there weren't enough episodes (although the two were lengthy with lots of twists and turns). We sure hope they're able to make Series 2 soon!

Faulty disk's
I have to write the same review about all the DVD'S I have bought in the last year through Amazon. All the disks played perfectly first time without any issues. Unfortunately when I tried to watch them a second time they will not play. DVD player says no disk. I have tried three different player's and the disk's are the right region. Very disappointed with this and cannot find anywhere on the Amazon site to report this matter.
