I have teeth sensitivity issues so I use a straw for everything I drink, to even drink my coffee with those little coffee stir straws. While I prefer my straws plastic and individually wrapped, I'm well aware that this is really bad for the environment. And there are so many alternative straw options these days that I've been on a kick trying to find something I like to use.If I'm being honest these Hay! Straws are not my favorite it have used. The straws themselves are very narrow with the hole being really tiny. They also are not super consistsnt, they are all narror but from one straw to another in the same pack the hole can vary a good bit from straw to straw. Also these definitely shed a little bit, if I take a straw and put it right in water I can see little pieces come off of this and float to the top… Umm no thank you! Now I have found that if I wash them under some water before using this doesn't happen, but I shouldn't have to do that in my opinion. These also are not very durable in the sense that they are fragile. If you accidently hit one with your teeth or something it will break.Overall these are ok… but definitely not my favorite. I would not repurchase these in the future. I just feel like the quality doesn't match the price point.

We like these more because they are disposable, the taste is tolerable, and they don't fall to pieces and feel gross in your mouth.
