This belt is different from others in that it connects from the front which is cool. I am giving it 4 stars because I will be honest it was not the easiest to get together from the front but not that bad either. At least you know it is going to stay on and not unsnap or unvelcro like other belts can do.I could had gone down a size too. I am a dress size 16/18 with a 40-41” waist and wish it were just a little more tight but it was snug enough and will go great with many different outfits.I will post a photo later.

This belt is soooo cute and stylish BUT that's about it. The latches repeatedly unlatches...especially when I'm siting. After I got out the car, the belt fell off my waist onto the ground. As much as I like the style, I might be returning it. I ordered a Large, it stretches well. I'm 190lbs!

I am always afraid when I buy things like this online that it will be too small. I purchased the XXL as I am under 5 foot and normally wear 16/18 or 1X. It fit perfectly! Not too small and definitely not too big. So far I have not had issues with the toggles/clamps, but the big test comes in a few days at a costume party - I will be Ms Captain Morgan. If you don't see any updates, you know all went well. But far the price and Prime delivery, I would recommend this corset!

I bought this belt for my Halloween costume this year and it's absolutely perfect for my outfit. I love the clasps on the front of the belt. Great for a steampunk look or a pirate's costume. So you can obviously use it for many different options. I'm giving this a 4 star review only because I ordered a size medium and the belt arrived damaged. One of the screws in the clasps was missing so it was loose and not staying clasped together. So I was able to return and order a new one, but unfortunately I had to order a size larger because the size I needed was no longer available. So now my new belt is a little too big, but it stays together.

I love the look of this belt, its unique with a hint of Steampunk. Like others before me have suggested, the toggles are kind of loose and with hardly any movement, they come undone. Hopefully something I can rectify before the Halloween party in 2.5 days.
