This is a quality valve
I'm always skeptical buying this type of hardware on the internet but this valve has some robust construction, seals very well and functions exactly as it should. It was exactly what I needed for my intended purpose. Highly recommend

Redesigned valve & manufacturing process ?
Valve schematic shown on Amazon website is accurate and depicts the 4 positions for the valve handle. The valve can be operated either as a bypass valve or a selection valve with the center tap being common to either of the two legs. Valve material is slightly magnetic and carries the designation CF8M and 1000WOG. CF8M is the material designation for cast 304SS with small additions (2-3%) of Moly to improve corrosion resistance to chloride containing fluids ie seawater. 1000WOG indicates a valve which can be used for Water Oil or Gas not to exceed 1000psi. If there is any negative, it is that the three bosses provided parallel to the valve handle need to be drilled and tapped to panel mount the valve. Great price for the quality

seems to be excellent quality, installing in boat
Using it to switch between livewell pump and washdown pump in my boat. Perfect for that application. It can move water 4 ways. Haven't installed yet to see if it leaks through the ball but I doubt it will. I'll update review if it does.

Leaking
I installed these and found that both were leaking from where the lever goes into the pipe. One of them dripped onto a surface and then onto some nearby electronic components, which ruined them. I expected better from what looked like a quality connection.
