NICHE Starter Motor Assembly 278001301 278000576 High Torque for 1996-1999 Can-Am Challenger Speedster

Fit perfectly in my 1997 Seadoo Challenger single engine 787. Seemed more powerful than the old one. But that one was pretty tired.

Used on 97 seadoo challenger worked great.

I installed this on a 1996 Seadoo XP. Ive replaced the starter once a year for the last 5 years. This is by far the best adtermarket I have found. In all fairness Ive only been out 4 times this year but the torque seems to be higher and my waverunner starts easier. I will update later if an issues arise.

Out of the box, no good bench tested only drawing 15 amps after the install did nothing but get hot the motor is not sized and would not turn over with the plugs out Amp draw in the machine ...over 300 amps that's bad for a car and yes a good fully charged battery
