Mermaid Throne
(Jim's daughter) I have been on the hunt for a comfortable and blue accent arm chair for a few months now this quarantine, and when I found this with all its befitting specifications, I knew it was perfect. I was nervous about the potential for quality and size issues since it is Amazon, but I read reviews from the manufacturer for other products and decided it was worth the risk. How delighted I am so far with this decision! I am 5'9 athletic at 160 and I still feel as if the seat is spacious. It was very easy to assemble, I barely needed the instructions except to be sure I put the larger washer on the right leg. The color is a stand-out in the best way, a beautiful cobalt teal that unifies the other blue accents in my brown heavy apartment. It will brighten any room with a flourish of luxury. My boyfriend was stunned when he came home and asked in a charmingly hopeful tone if this came as a pair haha! I wish! He then exclaimed why were so many things in my apartment turquoise as if just now noticing after 6 years that I have a nautical theme, so this mermaid throne has its magical ability to bring focus to apparently what men ignore! Be warned however that may affect you!My only gripes are that the legs came slightly scratched despite being protected in bubble wrap, though not noticeable once under the chair, and while assembling, it was clear the "wood" is a compact and not the most durable. They also tend to twist on their own if you drag the chair, no matter how tightly I screwed them in, so I suggest either getting wheels or picking it up rather than pushing it to where you want it to sit. The chair itself is very light. There is a gap between the bordering sides and the arms, but that only makes sense to give it room to lean back and adjust when you recline. I just wish those things locked into place, but they easily pop out if you grab the chair from those sides. Another quality dock. There isn't a lever nor button for the reclining feature, but this is my first recliner, so I am not sure if this is common now for aesthetics. I can just imagine for those with less flexibility or who are physically restricted from age etc that this might be an obstacle worth noting. I pull out the leg rest to activate it.Overall, it is beautiful, I can't wait for my friends to see it. The chair does its job in being fabulous and decently comfortable, but be warned there are some quality aspects that remind you where you bought it.

It's beautiful. I love the turquoise color and the silver stud nails (?) make it pop.
It isn't a big, plush, cushy chair. I knew that from it's weight, dimensions and price. I wasn't disappointed in it as I did not have the budget or room (500 sq ft apt) for many other chairs. Especially one that the bottom comes up to put your feet on and it reclines so you can nap in it. Mainly, it is the highlight of my living room furniture because its old and brown. there sits my bright, new nice chair in it's glory. It's made well and sturdy. However, if an over zealous, rammy teenager ran up to it and jump into it they probably would get what they deserved and fly backwards. i'd actually like to see that esp if their feet went into the air. lol.. Normal use is required. Great accent, useful chair.

Lovely color
Easy to assemble. Says it needs 2 people but it really doesn’t! It took me 5-10 minutes? It’s comfortable, I love the color. The arms are a little lower than I’m used to, and you can’t put anything on them. But it’s a nice chair and seems well made. It’s light and easy to move. The recliner mechanism is a little clunky and not very smooth, you have to push back quite hard to get it to move, but for the price it’s a nice chair.I’d buy another one!

Nice for price
I was really glad this came before Christmas (stated estimated arrival 12/22-12/28 it arrived 12/22) My mother was staying with me and likes to sleep in recliners because of her COPD. It was pretty easy to put together (I did it by myself). I like it aesthetically. My mother said it was uncomfortable to lean back in but solved problem with a pillow against the back. For that reason I gave it 4 stars instead 5. She also complained it didn’t have a lever to recline it. She had trouble getting it to tilt back. Then again I had no issues when I tilted it back. She is shorter than I am🤷♀️

Cute chair
Perfect chair for any room. I love that the foot rest is shorter than the rest of the recliners I’ve had. It’s a fun teal color that adds a pop to my craft room.

Very uncomfortable if you have any back or sciatica issues.
The cushion is VERY hard. It causes pressure points with no relief. I can only sit in it for a short time.
