A little goes a long way! Watch out for pink slime, tho
I have been using this detergent for a couple of years now, because I finally got fed up with the Cascade scent permeating all my plastic and silicone kid items.Based off my experience of this cleans just as well as the various pods on the market, but without the smell, and allows the ability to use less detergent when you need to. For example, we have very soft water, so I find that I only need less than half a tablespoon per load.UPDATE 1: I noticed some powdery soap residue on plastic dishes, so had to start using a rinse aid.UPDATE 2: after using this for several months our dishwasher developed a locker room stink and layer of pink slime growing on the filter, likely due Serratia marcescens, a bacteria. I suspect this natural soap doesn't do as good a job of killing off bacteria as our previous detergent.

Cleans tea stains, white residue can happen
Bit expensive, does clean well. Tea stains gone without pre-cleaning. Does leave some dusty film on upper tray dishes, but we may have added too much to the soap tray. Going to try to use less and see if stains still clean without the residue left behind.

Super
Works great, and lasts a long time — so glad to ditch the liquid.

Doesn't clean, bad container, no scoop.
I bought this product because of the "A" rating on EWG and because the dishwasher powder I normally use, Seventh Generation Free & Clear, kept going out of stock. There are several things I don't like about this powder:It does not work! I follow the directions and there is white residue on my dishes, especially the ones on the top rack, an this morning there was an actual chunk of detergent on the rim of my coffee mug. I haven't had this problem with the Seventh Generation powder. You need a scoop to use it, I happened to have an extra 1TB lying around, but this is annoying.Your scoop will likely not fit in the container, so it will be floating around wherever you keep your dishwasher detergent. The container is made of plastic and the threads are uneven, making it difficult to close.I'll be going back to the Seventh Generation powder, getting it delivered by Target since Amazon can't seem to keep it stocked. It has the same"A" rating from EWG, you can buy it in many local stores, the container is made of cardboard with a metal spout for pouring, it's cheaper, and it actually works!!Unfortunately BioKleen was a waste of money.

Not terrible but not great either.
I have used this product a few times now and it does get my dishes clean for the most part, but it does leave a white residue on some of the dishes. It also does not rinse all the way out of the dispenser. It doesn't really have a smell nor does it have a way to dip out the powder, I've had to use a spoon.

Shines clean
This works fantastic. No residue cleans all surfaces . I do use rinse aid but this powder I tried so no plastics are going into our watershed

Non-Allergic
This stuff is all natural and works better to clean than popular store brands. I started using this because of my skin allergies
