PENSUN F30 Grill, Front Kidney ABS Grille Guards For 2012-2018 BMW 3-Series F30 F31 F35 328i 335i, Gloss Black, Double Slat / 2Pcs

The double slat glossy black grill looks and fits amazing! I would definitely recommend this product. However, the hardest part about this was removing the OEM kidney grills. Unless you have the right tools or long skinny fingers, you will have a lot of trouble getting the OEM grills off. The tabs on the inside are pretty far back, and you need to either remove the entire front bumper (correct procedure) or attempt to remove the grill from the front with your bare hands or use a tool with a right angle on it. I ended up braking some tabs off the OEM grills when removing, but since I’m replacing with these new ones, it didn’t matter.My suggestion. Break the OEM slats so you can get behind the grill to access the tabs. That would save you at least 30 mins of you life. Again, the glossy black grills look amazing on my black 2013 BMW 335i! I love it!!

The toughest part will be taking off the old ones. It’s a little tricky. If you don’t care about them, just snap one of the “teeth” out of it and then you can get a hand in there and get the first one off. That’s what I did. Then the second one is dead easy because you can get your entire forearm around to the other side. They pop in as easy as fresh batteries in your tv remote. I did end up having to take them to back off to insert some blue bits (second photo). They are more forgiving to remove then the stock ones. Not exactly how I’d like to spend a Saturday morning, but way easier than the OEM. Obviously had to be more careful since I didn’t want to damage these. I included before and after the blue pieces (which are also on Amazon and a quick easy job) to compare. They come in different colors and if you like the look, order both and do both jobs at the same time. I wish I had known that before would have saved me some time.Anyway great grills, thought about doing this for years don’t know why I waited so long.

Surprisingly it fit my e90 as good as a previous replacement from FCP Euro. Worth it. No worries.

Installed on my white 2011 BMW 328i. They look a million times better than the chrome. I removed a star because they do not engage into the fascia as securely as the OEM grilles. Hopefully they will stay put. If so, money well spent. They are the budget friendly option after all. You get what you pay for

I said I wasn’t gonna mod my new daily and here I am. These I found on Amazon by this seller, perfect fit. Just watch a YouTube tutorial and you’ll be finished in less than 30 minutes. If you have thick hands and arms, don’t hurt yourself and be patient. Or take it to your buddy’s for help or a bodyshop.

I am very satisfied with these replacement grilles for my 2017 BMW 330i.There are two methods to remove the original grilles, the HARD WAY, opening the hood, removing the bumper and the danger of banging stuff up.The EASY WAY is to release the tabs from the front of the car using your hands to pull down on the tabs that hold the grilles to release them. The tabs are pretty stiff and you need to use some effort but not so much as to break them. I used two plastic auto body pry tools to help the removal. I started on one corner and in a clockwise direction, pulled each tab with my fingers and used the pry tools to provide leverage as I progressed around the grille.Inspired by a utube video on how to remove BMW F30 kidney grilles without tools.

Removing the existing grill was tricky but installing these was a piece of cake. These are not as tight fitting like the BMW grills were. But these grills look awesome.
