This book, ironically, leaves you wanting...
This story is about 6 pages long. The most overpriced, overhyped children’s book I’ve ever purchased. I’m really shocked at how many people thought this was a good buy. I was hoping for an engaging read for my 4yr old that relayed the importance of finding happiness in the moment with what you have. This is not it. This book literally just says, pig is happy, pig helps others, pig doesn’t want anything, with an absurd amount of blank pages. I would have happily paid $8-$10 for this, but $26 is straight up robbery.

Not worth the money
A little disappointed in this book. I thought it would be a bit more informative in “how” to have appreciation and gratitude.

totally devoid of any wisdom
I was totally shocked and aghast that the title of the book was 10 times more uplifting than anything in the book. Most of what was inside are well-known platitudes that are generally accepted as good ideas. I was saddened with such a great title, that the book did not at all live up to my expectations. What a great title, but nothing inside to support the title. It's all good information, but nothing profound, which was what I was hoping for. So I was very disappointed in the book. Some will find it uplifting. I did not.

A cute book
I bought this based on an that claimed it could help with child behavior issues — it fell short of that claim by 100%. It was however a cute book and we enjoyed reading it.

Waste of Money
I realize it's a children's book, but it's so lame.Hyped as teaching gratitude and promoting happiness, the Zen Pig is a big disappointment.

Not about gratitude at all
I was so excited to get this book and teach my daughter about gratitude. The word itself doesn't make an appearance until the end. The book mostly talks about the pig's day as he meets friends but no mention of gratitude until the end where it says, "and what are you grateful for?" It's like, what? You never talked about this before? Not worth close to $25 that's for sure. It's a $9 book tops.

Pricey
This very slim little paperback book is a bit pricey. The content, though, is quite nice.

My favorite bed time story!
I purchased this after Facebook used their algorithms to determine I was concerned for my son and his ability to cope, etc. The book, along with some others, came highly recommended in regards to calming kids and helping teach mindfulness. And I have to say, it is my most FAVORITE book to read before bed. Such a lovely book and such a simple but beautiful way to teach gratitude and living in the present.
