Great, happy with purchase

So.. I'm no longer trapped in my own house during mosquito season! I tend to have staph reactions from bites, which is bad news! All last season, it was the exception to be outside and either hear those nasty high pitched hummers buzzing around me,... Or actually get bitten. I set two traps using the guidelines available online from Audubon website, one in back yard, one in my front yard. Coverage was great, a good 25 or 30 foot radius around each, where mosquitoes simply weren't a problem anymore! I redid each trap on a monthly basis during season, being sure to cover each bucket with netting to keep deer from trying to drink. I will say, towards the end of each month, the buckets do stink a bit, but only if you're right on top of them.It's so wonderful to be able to enjoy sitting outside again around the firepit, or on my own front porch! Already looking forward to Spring and being outside again!

These have always worked great here in AZ. For my rain barrels a whole donut works for about a month and you can break them in halves or smaller for ponds and such. They do not harm animal or garden. They were hard to find here so I ordered online. Im happy!

Wife hasn't said her opinion, but she put one in a 2 gallon bucket that had some left over small rock mix pebbles and low grade rock for plant drainage I guess. Was sitting around and when it rained it would store some rain water over the rocks, dropped some in, not sure, but sometimes those mosquitos are swarms.

Works great for reducing the amount of mosquitos. I toss them into the pond in my backyard and I have noticed a reduced amount of the bugs. Only down side is needing to do so each month so I wish they later longer. But they aren't expensive so that is a plus.
