This media stand resulted in a clean, professional looking result for my new 85 inch LCD TV. Everyone loves it, and the price can’t be beat.A key feature of this item is that it is constructed of solid wood (soft pine or poplar is my guess), with no particle board. This makes it lighter, stronger, easier to repair, and simple to modify if needed (which I explain below).Although being made of solid wood makes it lighter than its particle board competitors, the shipping box is heavy as it’s a large piece of furniture. I opened the box on the ground floor and carried the pieces upstairs. It’s much better to make multiple trips safely than one trip to the doctor with an injury.The instructions were excellent, and all the parts clearly labeled. I am very handy, and it took me 90 minutes to assemble by myself. It's not simple, but with patience anyone can do it. If you are not handy, then bribe a handy friend or relative to do it for you. Handy people are helpful people, and like hugs ... and bribes. I made 2 enhancements to hide all the wires which resulted in a very clean, professional finish:1. Drilled a hole through the back panel behind the upper right door so I could put wires through it and use that compartment as a home for a power strip and extra TV cables. Everyone needs a home.2. Installed a 1”x3” strip of stained pine to the back edge which allows the top shelf to press up against the wall so you can’t see between the wall and the back of the stand. This completely hides all the wires that you spent time running behind the wall when you view the stand from side. I didn't want to see any wires!I posted pictures to give others ideas on how to optimize their results. Enjoy!

Allow at least 2 hr assemble time (it took him 3 hrs when it was all said and done) and that's with a drill. We figured it would take awhile. We ordered the 74 in one, it was delivered as promised and undamaged. It was a huge heavy box. my husband put it together , he was impressed with how solid and sturdy it was. You just never know with online stuff. We got the black one and really like the style. Very pleased and smelled brand new.

I like all the storage it gives you , but I was very unhappy about the color, it looks to have green and orange in it . My wife wanted me to return it still in the box but we are going to take a chance to see what it looks like in the day time ! Got it today 5-11-2021 and have most of it together so keeping my fingers crossed !

Easy to assemble maybe took an hour. Instructions were very clear and easy to read. Lots of extra hardware included! My biggest piece of advice for others assembling this is to not over tighten the screws they will strip because the wood is on the softer side. Packaging was great as well, but somehow the bottom shelf cracked, of course amazon took care of the issue. We will definitely be shopping for more simplihome furniture for our home!

The flipping shelf in the middle needs to be screwed in BEFORE the whole thing is done, unless you have a stubby screwdriver (we need up having to buy one for this reason)Top part of my table came broken.Took 2 people, just over 2 hours to build.

This was a three hour project and the instructions although well numbered are very hard to understand. After only a month of use there’s already a big crack in the top of the entertainment center. If I could I would return it. Too bad it’s too late.

Good looking. sturdy. No parts missing. No parts damaged. Easy instructions. Assembled in less than 1 hour. I would purchase this again

This was suppose to have predrilled marks for easy assembly... Well they were more like nick marks... The holes didnt all match up... On 1 of the doors, There were markings where you would put the magnet... But... The holes were on the wrong side of the door!! On the outside of the door!!! I was sooo upset... And I should of returned it...
