The chair has a firm seat. This isn't the cushy tv or game watching type chair. It also has a low back, so please use the measurements provided.It's perfect for a hip older person living in a senior center that just needs a guest chair, or a bedroom dressing chair. It may also be used as a dining chair with the right decor. Again, it has a firm seat and a low back.The fabric is sensitive to hand prints and such. So if you don't know velvet and like materials, be prepared for the fabric changes as it's used. Swipe one way and it leaves a darker look. Sort of like the pillows made to change colors.The seller was fantastic to work with!

Love this chair! Cushions are firm, nice size overall chair. Comfy yet firm. I am going to order another! I put this in my bedroom and my 300 pound husband, my 240 pound grandson, my 115 pound granddaughter, and myself at 125 pounds love it. I have it sitting in the bedroom near the window overlooking the Mississippi River and I can see myself enjoying this chair while watching the snow fly this winter and the bald eagles soaring over the river! Love it!!!!!!!

Although this is a lovely chair, it is very, very small. My husband cannot even sit in this chair. The description says you can curl up in it and read a book, but only if you are 4 years old. It looks like it belongs in a child's room. Topeakmart is amenable to me returning the chair, however, I will have to cough up the shipping cost!!! Not happy about that at all. I ordered it as Prime shipping and assumed I would not have to pay return costs. You know what they say when you "assume".Addendum: I was so upset that I would have to pay $250 to return this chair that I contacted the seller via Amazon. They were extremely attentive and supplied a prepaid return label for the chair. I must say, their customer service was responsive and accommodating.

Literally the most perfect thing in the entire world!! I love it so much. I’m 5’7 and I fit perfectly in the chair. It’s comfortable for a while. No complaints here!Took me like 2 minutes to assemble! This is what you call a bang for your buck.

Perfect little bedroom chair. I bought it to sit in for meditation, and it couldn’t be better for that. The seat is a little hard, but I find that I can sit here and read quite comfortably. All I had to do was screw on the legs and it was good to go!

The back of the chair only covers my very lower back (I’m 5’6”) so it’s most appropriate for sitting upright reading no longer than 15 or 20 minutes (unless you’re under 5 feet tall or a child) I imagine. Quality is fine. I would return it but I Recycled the custom made box And the return process expects me to box it up myself. It looks nice sitting in the corner or possibly as an ottoman.

Put together in 10 minutes and it’s just fantastic!

There is NO give to the seat, so you don’t sink in at all, like in other barrel chairs I have tested. This also makes the back too short to sit comfortably for more than a few minutes. My company has a deep discount with UPS…but it will cost me more than what I paid to ship these back. Lesson learned.
