Nice to work with
It’s what silicone insulated wire should be. Lots of tinned strands, it’s very flexible and solders easily.

Use 26ga for esc signal wire NOT 28 OR 30GA.. trust me.
Very good quality wire, takes solder quick and easy... makes perfect signal wire for ESCs... normally I use 28ga for that but it breaks at the solder joint to easy... this has enough strands to not break and holds up very well when getting hung up in a tree ECT ect... 28ga breaks at the solder joint super easy and this will not... only down side is this is strong enough to lift pads on the signal pad vs just breaking off at the joint.I hate breaking signal wires and having to take off shrink wrap and all just to solder one back on SO I add a little hot glue to the end of the shrink wrap making sure the signal wire is in it to take the stress off the pad in a,crash and I never break wires and I never lift pads like that. This is far more durable then 28ga as the strands are twice as many as in 28ga. It's a tiny bit more weigh but it's fine.. a half a gram more weigh on a light race quad doesn't change anything and keeps me from having signal wires break... 28ga will break in a good smacking of a race gate with the wire not even being touched but this will NOT. I have lost races before because stupid 28ga signal wires breaking... since then I use 26ga and a dap of hot glue and bingo never again break a signal wire. The ones that say use 30ga signal wire... lmao DON'T you will break it just looking at it. 28ga is better but still breaks to easy... this does not break and it doesn't weigh enough more to be a issue... adding 5 grams to a 230 gram build in extra wire I wouldn t do, adding a half a gram on a 230 gram race build no one can tell that half gram is there and you will have much much more reliable quad. A broken signal wire is instant out of the air the second it breaks you are done until you solder it back and God forbid the esc doesn't disarm right away and you cook a esc and motor from it spinning on the ground until something cooks and a fire starts.... trust me just use 26ga wire for signal and you will thank me later.Plus this makes perfect esc power wires for 2 and 2.5 inch builds... 3 inch would be pushing it current wise but 2 and 2.5 inch 2 and 3s quads this is perfect esc power wire as well.

Great but a little flimsy
Overall seems like a pretty good product for the price. It works as intended however I am a little worried in the long term use (especially with heat). The silicone sleeve seems pretty cheap but the wires inside are pretty good looking. So 4/5.

Still as good as ever.
This is my second purchase of this silicone wire, and I'm just as pleased as with my first purchase. I'll likely make a third purchase when the need arises.

worked well to hookup a small motor & controller.
there's not much to say about this. I used it to hook up a 12v motor to a controller & power. the motor required a soldered connection, and this was easy to work with. the controller & power connections were screw down. I tinned the ends, & it connected fine. The whole project is working, so I'm happy with it.

It’s not copper
Very flexible wiring & it will work ok for what I’m doing but it’s advertised as being copper wire but it’s really aluminum. Copper does not have the color of silver…. This was important to me because I’m restoring a hobby item that was made 65 yrs ago with copper wire & I wanted repairs to be as much like original as possible. I made my purchase based upon being advertised as copper.
