Cable Combination Lock

This lock has been so beneficial to us! Our son likes to get into anything he can, and before we got this lock, he was getting into the fridge and breaking all the eggs. This lock has held up for a very long time now, and is still going strong, and is able to with stand my 7 year old trying to pull the doors apart to break it open.. I Highly recommend this product!

Nice and strong

The combination code lock is perfect. Limits access to who can get in the fridge without disrupting the kitchen routine. Very sturdy.

When you are a parent to an autistic child, locking everything is a must. I don’t want anything with a key because I’ve found the keys are always flimsy and break easily. Anything that just stickers on can be easily broken or ripped off with enough force. I’ve got a strong little fella on my hands. It appears to work exactly as it should.

The first package of 2 small white cable locks sent by Amazon would not unlock at 0000 or any other combinations of numbers. So I wrote to the email address, info@urbanaugust.com, on the cardboard at the top of the soft bag package. To my pleasant surprise, the owner of the small family business selling the locks through Amazon responded to me almost immediately. After giving him some information, including coding numbers on a sticker attached to the package, he determined that the package I received from Amazon was not new. The locks had been returned to Amazon by a prior buyer who had opened but restapled closed the package to look new and unopened. The locks inside were stuck closed, having been changed to an unknown combination other than 0000. I told the seller I was leaving on a trip in just a few days and needed the locks to secure a medicine cabinet for safety because the person housesitting while I was gone has young children. He arranged to have a second package with new locks shipped to me by expedited means at no cost to me. The locks arrived less than 2 days after I contacted him. I am totally pleased with the locks. The soft white cover material blends with and protects my cabinets. The cable is thicker than most other locks this size. The instructions to change the combination from 0000 are easy to follow. The locks work great with my custom combination. The cables secure my medicine cabinets perfectly. This sell represents the highest level of honesty and integrity and deserves being used by anyone needing the well-designed cable and other locks he sells.

I did not change the password but it refuses to lock after only Four weeks of using this. The previous one I bought a few years ago did not give my any issues but this current one might have some that are defective

Tried this on my pantry to help me keep track of all the snacks my boys would consume throughout the day; snacks would literally turn into meals & of course (not healthy) so I thought this was a perfect solution to limit daily snacks but NO its more for a refrigerator as the handles on a cabinet & or pantry are not out far enough for looping this devices ends that connect (ends are somewhat wide). I recommend this as a perfect solution for people who need a locking device on refrigerators for what ever reasons. Even though I didn't need it for my refrigerator, I was curious...so I tried it & I can confirm it looped perfectly w/ no problem through my refrigerators handles / code lock also worked flawlessly.

Lock works really good! Easy to change combination and keeps door secure. Received next day. Very satisfied.

Perfect product to lock a fridge in a shared space.

Easy to set up the combination these are attractive and blend well with my white decor just make sure your handles have around a 1 inch gap.

Excelente tal cual está en la publicación de buen material y resistente lo recomiendo

Really great product. It would be amazing if one had an ability to make it smaller though as my handles are a size whereby this product does not lock it effectively, it would be better if it was smaller to fit snug around my cupboard locks

Do you have young children and want to prevent the risk of them climbing into your fridge? Or perhaps a teenage son that raids the fridge after you go to sleep at night despite eating all damn day long? Lol than get this- it works, that’s all you need to know… but change the default code cause my son spent 2 hrs to crack it and his smart a$$ did 🤣 if only he was smart enough to read the package left right in front of his face that said the code LOL entertaining too!
