SIZEI looked everywhere for reviews for people that have dachshunds, because their bodies are very long, even though they stand short. This carrier holds my almost 13 lb miniature dachshund. She can almost be completely stretched out inside, but definitely has plenty of room to move around. Most of the time she likes to curl up anyways. You can see from the photos that she is quite comfortable inside. When the bag is sitting upright (as it would be when you were walking around wearing it as a backpack), she does lean into the side mesh. But when the bag is laid on its back/ back down (this is probably the position you would put it in under an airplane seat), she is able to be completely stretched out and stand up completely.***EDIT I don't think this bag is within the measurements for in-cabin flight. I have since researched and for more airplanes (it depends on the aircraft) you need a bag that is smaller than 18.5x8.5x13.5 inches..... Confirm with your airline first!***In comparing it to the other (light colored) bag, this one is a little bit smaller, but doesn't make much of a difference in the base of the backpack. My dachshund fit quite comfortably in both. If you have a dog that is going to be sitting up right in the backpack, you might want the light tan canvas bag because it is taller. For international flights you have to have four sided ventilation. I am assuming that this would count as four sides, because there are the little vent holes on the sides, bottom, and the top opening is technically a fourth side.Comparing it to the light tan canvas bag, this one is much more likely to fit under the airplane seat. I can't imagine the other** bag working as a carry-on...CLEANINGThis bag is a leather like material that would be completely wipe off a bowl, and stain proof. Obviously, you can remove the inner padding. I would say that this would be leak proof per airport "standards." I like that the leather like material does not let the dog hair stick to it, so it looks very clean, and elegant.Comparing it to the light tan canvas bag, which is made of canvas, the brown leather is much more cleanable. The light handbag is canvas, and the dog hair sticks to it, and it would be more likely to stain. PERHAPS the light canvas material would be more durable than the leather? I'm assuming that the Leather-like material might be more likely to get scratched or snagged. Time will tell!LOOKThe material is high quality, and looks great. One thing I was looking for was a bag that wasn't super obvious to being a pet carrier; as you can see from some of the pictures, from the back it is not obvious that you have a dog in this bag (as long as you have the plastic mesh instead of the plastic see-thru bubble). From the side it is not obvious that you have a dog in this bag, unless there is light behind you and they can see the silhouette of the dog.When comparing the look to the light tan canvas bag from another posting, I think that I like the overall structure of the light tan canvas bag better. But I like the dark brown leather look better on this (slightly) smaller bag.COMFORTI would say this would be completely comfortable for my Doxie to be in for several hours. She has plenty of space to move around and it is well-vented. For the person wearing it, it is not the most comfortable backpack I've had. It's not a bad backpack, but it has some form of a frame that keeps it in shape. It seems like the bottom back rubs into the small of my back a little bit. But overall the straps are padded, and fit nicely over my shoulders.The light tan canvas bag in comparison, felt like it didn't dig into my back as much. It has a longer length to it, and maybe it's that better on my hips. I'm not sure.STRUCTUREThis bag has a sturdy structure, good shoulder straps, zippers work nicely. I like that these zippers go around the lateral sides of the bag (long story short, I found a different bag - pictured as light tan - that's entire base is supported only by the zipper. I feel like that's not really durable, and the second your zipper breaks, you can no longer transport your pet with that other*** bag).

The media could not be loaded.  I am a cat and travel lover, so I ordered this cat carrier backpack. It came faster than expected. I have been using it heavily for almost a month now and it is holding up very well. I am 100% satisfied and am so happy with it. The quality is great!First of all, I like this coffee color. It is durable and is easy to wash when it got dirty. It has a very fashionable design with the bubble. My best friend and I took a road trip with my cat. People stopped us everywhere to take pictures with the cat and checked out this awesome cat bag.It is more comfortable wearing the bag with my cat in it than any other "cat backpack" I have purchased. The straps are wide enough and I felt comfortable during the trip. It saved me more energy hiking with the cat backpack on. It is especially nice for me because I use it A LOT to carry my cat with me while hiking or traveling.It is very easy to get the bubble and other parts on and off the bag. There is a snap hook inside to keep my cat safe. It is a really nice cat backpack. There are may holes and a big mesh for air to go through, makes my cat easy to breathe. It is easy to put my cat inside because both sides can be opened and the front opens too.My cat LOVES this backpack. He is 15 lbs now. When he is inside, there is a lot of room for him to move. The bubble window is very nice, and he can look at the outside world. This is a great cat carrier backpack!

My partner and I had been searching for a cat backpack/carrier like this for a while, and we’re very happy we chose this one!Our kitty Jinora is about 6 months old, and roughly 6-7 pounds, and it is very nice and spacious for her (with room for her to grow). The air flow was important to us, and I love that the mesh panels on the sides are pretty large, AND the flap around the bubble opens up! The little buckle inside seems secure and it’s really nice to be able to attach it to her harness so we can safely open up the little door around the bubble for her to get some fresh air — also love that the strap is adjustable to make it loose enough for them to lay down, but also tighten it back up if you open the bubble up and they peer out. The bubble and mesh fixtures are easy to change out, while still remaining secure to the backpack, and the bottom of the backpack is nice and sturdy (it does not cave in from weight like many flimsy pet carriers)! It’s comfy to wear, and our kitty loves it so much she even takes naps in it throughout the day. 🥰

Ended up giving this away to a friend with a more relaxed cat.It's perfect for big cats for sure which is why I wanted it! (My cats are 16lb main coons)Love the color, it's very nice quality and love that you can take the pad out of it to clean. But the plastic pieces (bubble and screen that come with it) are sharp! My cat seeing the clear bubble tried to push it open a few times since he was scared in the car and wanted out. But he caught his nose on the bubble inside and cut himself up.If your cat is calm inside carriers and cars this is a great bag but if they get scared or try at all to push their way out they're going to cut themselves a bunch on the screen or bubble!

Me estaba mudando de ciudad por lo que necesitaba una transportadora para que mi gatita de 4 kg fuera conmigo, pero sabía que tendría las manos ocupadas en llevar mi equipaje y en hacer el check-in y mostrar nuestros documentos en todos lados. Por eso buscaba una mochila que fuera cómoda para ambas y la verdad es que fue una excelente opción. Lo único malo es que medía un par de centímetros más de lo que la aerolínea permití pero por suerte no la midieron. En realidad mi gatita es pequeña y muy asustadiza por lo que quizás le hubiera funcionado más un espacio más reducido pues si problema hubieran cabido dos como ella en la mochila. Lo que quiero decir es que el espacio es amplio y para alguien pequeño como yo también es un poco grande la mochila para manejarla y cargarla, sin embargo no es algo negativo, solo se me hace importante mencionarlo. Es lo suficientemente resistente para que se mantuviera siempre en forma y ella no se hundiera ni se fuera de lado, pero no estoy segura de qué tanto hubiera sido así si fuera una mascota pesada. Como mochila en si, las agarraderas me quedaron perfectas y tiene un cierre al frente que puede ayudar a sentir más comodidad y seguridad. Las bolsas que trae son muy útiles y allí pude llevar su platito, el sobre de comida e incluso documentos y mi celular. En general me parece un buen producto, lo recomiendo.

Great bag for my 2 chihuahuas. Great being able to fit a luggage trolley and wheel them around rather than having it on my back 😃I’ve added a padded mat inside to make it more comfortable as it can be bumpy on wheels. They love it.Really good quality, love how well aired it is as there’s mesh all around… well happy with it.

Sí cumple con lo publicado, es amplia y resistente. Pareciera cómoda por que mis gatos la usan de cama, aun cuando no necesitan ser transportados.Es más práctica que una caja dura, el material esta muy bien, solo como mejora yo le agregaría una tapa o cubierta al frente como tienen los laterales, pero es solo un extra, fuera de eso está muy bien.

La base no es muy rígida, al igual que los laterales pero se sostiene bien, cierres de buena calidad, las bolsas que tiene son muy útiles. Es fácil de limpiar, de buen tamaño mi gato se mueve fácilmente en ella. A veces me lo he llevado sobre mis piernas y es cómodo
