As a volunteer firefighter I wanted something that covered all the requirements for the POV light usage, while not having to buy several different kits and a wiring nightmare. This is a real nice kit that is decently simple to install. I have moderate installation/wiring experience, so I found this to be a moderate level self installation, as long as you have the right tools.The light its self is very nice, and bright. these type of lights seem to get brighter the further away you are, but are not absolutely blinding and danger causing when you are right on top of them.With 45 selectable patterns, obviously you're going to like one. I personally feel that some of the patterns are ridiculous and would never be used in any type of lighting situation, and are only there for bragging rights.There are a few small cons:- 1. My light collects a small bit of water/condensation. I called Speedtech and they said this is normal for all and any lightbar, and that IF the water were to damage the lights at all, it is under warranty and would be replaced for free.- 2. The wire/wire harness is THICK. Now while this is expected, and generally appreciated, I feel that it was not taken into account that some of these lights would be used for POV's, and thus they will not be wired in through a hole in the roof like on typical emergency vehicles. I had to strip the coating off of mine for about 4 aches, and seal tape it to make it thin enough to be run seamlessly into my door.- 3. Finally, the universal "gutter" mount is not a gutter mount to be honest. I was always taught that a gutter on a vehicle is the gutter on the top of the vehicles roof... well this mount goes in the door frame of the vehicle. Closes within that gutter I guess you could say. Works very well if you know how to mount it.-2 month update: all four of the corners now fog up and collect water. I contacted the company, and again it is under warranty if it effects the lights. I am going to remove cover, dry out, and apply silicon and hope for better results. This does not effect the brightness of the lights however.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a really well built and sweet looking light bar.Cons- Wow what a pain in the butt this was to get on my car. The wire for this light bar is really really big and thick because of all the features it offers. I didn’t want to bore out a giant hole in my roof because of the connector on the end that plugs into the control box. I cut the wires about a foot down from the connector, ran the wire through the hole in my roof from a previous Abrams light bar and then reconnected the wires inside my car. I kinda wish I ordered from SpeedTech to get the extension because I barely had enough cable left to mount the control box where I wanted it.Pros- Bright during the day to where I could still see it all the way down the block in direct sunlight and probably would have seen it further. Although it is super bright during the day it’s not blinding at night which is very important for me. I don’t want to blind other drivers when I’m out directing traffic or blind my fellow firefighters. Build quality is amazing and universal gutter racks fit very well on my car and this bar isn’t budging. I was doing 85 down the highway with 40mph gusts and a heavy head wind and it didn’t move an inch.Definitely a good light bar to consider!

Product itself is five stars great quality great build material extremely bright at night and during the day the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I did not receive instruction or how to properly install on my vehicle which caused unnecessary headache but I will be buying more of their product

This was a very easy lightbar to install onto my vehicle. It’s insanely bright even during the daytime. I purchased it for being a volunteer firefighter and I am absolutely in love with it. All of my other lights in my vehicle are also by SpeedTechLights. I will recommend them to anyone looking for some very affordable and very high quality products for their lighting needs and I will continue to use them for my lighting needs and maybe even one day get a sponsorship with them. Who knows? But altogether, SpeedTechLights is an amazing brand and I will definitely keep using them.

Bought this light in the hopes that it would live up to the videos and comments I’ve seen and heard on it and wow! If your looking for a good quality/decent lightbar, this is the one you want. Received in the mail today, and already got it on my Jeep. It doesn’t disappoint! The only hiccup I seemed to have had was when mounting I had to bend the brackets a little to make it work and add rubber feet extensions for the bar to sit firm on my roof, but I think that’s just the style Jeep I have made that part difficult. Other then that, well worth the money and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality bar!

Love the design. I like how its alot bigger than most light bars out there. Love the control box too. Much easier than other brands. I bought this to replace a led equipped bar. The led equipped bar barely lasted 4 days then shorted out. This thing already lasted a week! Very reliable and bright! STL for life!

The media could not be loaded.  Well over all it’s not bad...but it’s okay. For one it’s not as bright as I expected it to be. At dark, sure it’s bright but sometimes you need it in the daylight too in the real world work environment. Not as bright as I thought. Also, it flickers? When I put it on cruise or just have my alleys on, the light bar flickers....it’s so annoying. The alleys don’t strobe they just flash. And not to mention it’s building up condensation inside of it. I’ve got a good mind to send it back and get another Abrams or a lamphus. And now, the control box when you put it on rear, doesn’t work sometimes. Waste of money

This lightbar is nice low profile, was easy to install and is nice and bright during the day and at night.
