Doesn't hold cable tight
I should of looked at pictures more closely but this doesn't staple the cable tight against the surface. After the first staple I went back to using my haer and other type of staples that hold cable tight against the surface with no sagging between staples on a run.I'll be sending this back, it's of no use to me running cable that needs to be tight against the staple insulation and surface.

Worst tool I ever used
Klein tools is known for great quality tools so I bought this stapler due to their reputation. What a mistake.I cannot understand why it is so bad to use. I waste about half the staples each time I use it. The staples just don't sink into material. It works ok, sometimes on sheetrock but I use mostly to run cat 6 wiring and if the staple sticks at all into wood, I have to use a lightweight hammer to get them snug. Most of the time staple just falls out or it punctures the cable. I have the same issues others have. First off, the stack of staples just lays in the opening, I have to slide the stack into a spring loaded piece inside of the area where the staples go. With most staplers, you open the track, put the staples on top and slide it back in and lock it. Not this thing. Even after sticking my fingers in the top area where the stapling occurs, I can start to push the staples back into this little spring track and guide the entire piece inward and lock it in place. Just looking at the staples and the are where the staple would come out you can usually see the staples are not lined up dead center. That's an issue because I have found the staple goes through a wire often. So I have to constantly watch to see after stapling if the staples shifted. There is a metal guide that can be brought down in the front of the stapler where the staples come out. This guide is shaped so you can keep the cable in that slit so the cable doesn't move. However, I can't tell you how many times that piece is just useless because I still keep finding staples going into the actual cable. I also waste about 4 or 5 staples out of 10 each time. This is due to the fact that the staples will just not penetrate most things I use them on. I mean they don't even bend most of the time, they just fall off the material I am stapling into. I am running ethernet cable inside and outside of the home. I have found that testing the staple on a wall of sheetrock is the most successful material to staple on. However, none of the cables need to be stapled onto sheetrock. I have 2x4s for wall framing and outdoor wood on the home. I have also had to staple to pressure treated joists under a deck. As I said previously. I have to follow up with a lightweight hammer to further sink the staples as they usually don't go in far. I cannot fathom how this stapler made it to market. I also bought every size Klein insulated staple and the issue occurs with all staples.

It works like they say it does
I purchased this to install a camera system in a home. It does what they say and works, but I'm not impressed with the variety of staples for this gun, yes they work but not as great as you though they would. I think the stapler is way over priced, though is is built like a sherman tank. Don't get me wrong, this is a great stapler, but it is high priced. Staples for the gun usually run$7.50 for 300.

Lots of promise, but lack of execution
After suffering with a lesser brand that didn't work at all, I at least expected a tool from Klein to do what it's supposed to do. Yes, this thing shoots wiring staples. But it doesn't actually sink them into the wood, requiring follow up with a hammer to complete the task. And the downside to that is much of the time, the hammer distorts the thin staples. My goal here was to use my hammer a lot less because of wrist pain, but alas, that was not the case. Toward the end of the job, I just reverted to hand pounded wire staples which are reliable and I'll probably sell this thing on FB marketplace.

Life saver!!! Works really well
This product is worth every penny, I had wires hanging in my crawl space all over the place after dyi my house over the past few years and this solved it in less than 15mins, I’m female and had no problem using it. A+++, I would suggest sticking with Klein for quality can’t guarantee other brands would work as well… great price.

Misfires, doesnt sink staples, presses hard, good luck over your head, or on a ladder
If I wrote this review before using it I would give a 10 out of 10 absolutely. This tool is like all metal build, the handle feels a little rubbery, not too hard to load staples, has a little window to see if there are staples left, and most importantly the backwards handle keeps the pressure where you need it on the driving side. I also had one from Menards with the handle on the opposite of the driving side, and it would buck up and not work at all unless you used both hands. This one at least is better than that.... however-after using it Saturday I am less than impressed and will be looking for the box to maybe return. It presses hard, you can't really reach up and use it, and you better have your ladder perpendicular or youll push yourself over (I realize you should anyways but you know how it goes). I was using it to staple cat 6 cable and did like the 1/4 staples for that, but when I was using the 11/32 staples to do 3 cables, it constantly misfired but would get a staple on the 2nd 3rd or 4th try, but then the cable was getting hit and left some marks.I know this is my fault, but about 5x that day I was in a weird spot or trying to reach way out up on a ladder etc, giving it all I had to press it down, and when it would fire I guess the stapler would jump off the ground a bit and literally I stapled the cable quite a few times and had to replace. This made me pretty unhappy, again, I understand that in a perfect world stapling right in front of me pressing against something this wouldn't happen, but when you are snaking a ladder thru someones barn w junk everywhere sometimes you just need to reach out- had I bought a powered stapler this wouldn't have been an issue. Further, in a crawlspace or something you have the same issue, you reach up and have arm strength only, you can't lean into it. I really want it, and might keep for a secondary, but if I can get the box the money would be better spent towards a powered version

Weak as a stapler..
On a maximum level of strength- not able drive staples even in a soft wood...Idea of versatility with different size staplesg not bad, but real ability if tool - much below expectations. Not happy at all..

Save your time and aggravation
The staples do not penetrate wood (2x4's). Period. Regardless of the setting the tool fails >90% of the time.
