I picked up toenail fungus at the sports locker room about 25 years ago. When it first happened I went to the podiatrist who recommended Pedinol fungoid tincture and tried that for years but that did absolutely nothing. I tried every top seller nail fungus product. Nothing worked. Then I tried garlic oil and other natural remedies. Still, no progress. Finally I tried Lotrimin Ultra, and WOW, real results! Today is the first time ever my toenail fungus is completely gone!Apply Lotrimin Ultra generously directly on the nails after clipping off as much as possible of the fungus affected nail. It takes a few weeks/months of consistent daily application before you will start to see a hint of results, with a preview of tiny bit of healthy new nail growing in. If your entire toe nail is affected by fungus, in my experience it takes about 2 years of daily application to get rid of the fungus completely. This wait time is because nails grow slowly and you're mostly waiting for the new nail to replace all of the old nail. But it's worth it, because this stuff works!Note that regular Lotrimin (which contains miconazole or clotrimazole) is not effective. I tried regular Lotrimin and that does nothing. Only this Lotrimin Ultra (butenafine) formula worked wonders for toe nails.Out of curiosity, I search the web to see if there are any medical studies consistent with what I observed. Sure enough, there is a 2007 meta-analysis study entitled "Topical treatments for fungal infections of the skin and nails of the foot" which concludes about dermatophyte infections of the toenails: "There was some evidence that ciclopiroxolamine and butenafine are both effective but they both needed to be applied daily for prolonged periods (at least one year)."I share my experience because I hope that discovery of Lotrimin Ultra for toenails helps someone out there. I feel that there are way too many products out there which do absolutely nothing for toenail fungus, yet they are top sellers and we need to help people discover what actually works.

It works slowly, will take time to elminiate it butyou will see a degression in a few days as the nail grows.I recommend it.I do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review.240916 1107
