Dreamworks Dragons Rescue Riders, Summer and Leyla, Dragon and Viking Figures with Sounds and Phrases

I can’t vouch for the toy’s longevity, since we’ve only had it for a couple of days, but for those who complain that it only makes sounds and no phrases, read the instructions that come with the toy. I almost sent our toy back because I couldn’t make it make any phrases, only water sounds in either mode. The toy has 2 modes - just sounds and sounds and phrases. In the second mode (marked II on the switch) it only plays sounds when you press the entire saddle. In the first mode (I on the switch) you need to put Layla in the saddle so her behind sits on that small button in the center and then press Layla to hear phrases. Your kiddo’s finger should be small enough to press that center button without Layla to hear phrases too. An adult finger doesn’t work as well. You are welcome!

I was a bit nervous about buying this toy given all the reviews stating that the Summer dragon had the wrong voices. I ultimately took a chance, noting that all the negative reviews were from 2021, and hoping that the issue had been resolved. Happy to report that this toy has the Summer/Leyla voice recordings! It works wonderfully. My child is thrilled with both the Summer and Leyla action figures.

DreamWorks, for the love of Pete, bring this show back! My kid is obsessed beyond any other show out there and these toys are simply great. This is a great toy. Please also have more toys for Aggro, Burpie and Melodía.

I ordered this product and when it arrived it didn't make any sounds straight out of the box. The dragon is supposed to make sounds and the rider is supposed to say phrases from the show when she is on the dragon. I tried to change the batteries thinking they were dead but that didn't make a difference. I reached out to Amazon and ordered a replacement thinking maybe I got a defective one. The replacement doesn't work either! It makes some noises but sounds like it is dying. Again I tried to change the batteries and it made no difference. I am very disappointed that the company who is fulfilling these orders seem to be selling defective products. I will be trying to order from another company to see if that solves the issue.

My kids insist the audio belongs to the boy dragon for this girl dragon. They have both. And they have a 2nd girl dragon. Supposedly the audio doesn't match up. But they play with her all the same.

My Grandchildren love this series and have had a lot of fun playing with the characters from Dragon Rescue Riders. Item seems to be well made and well worth the price paid.

Bought a while ago to have for Christmas and just opened yesterday to discover that the Sound does not work. Read directions and tried in all modes. Even changed expensive batteries and still does not work. Just tiny blips of sound like it is dying. And paint chips off when you try to access the battery section.
