(6) RFID Blocking Sleeves Credit Card Holder, Vera Bradley Inspired to Protect Your Identity from Theft (Variety 2)

Credit Cards with chips are exceptionally vulnerable for having the data wirelessly stolen. The chip on one of my credit cards was scanned either while waiting for the light at a crosswalk, or while shopping. My internet research indicated that stealing information from a chip could be done by criminals using a smart phone. My card was in a thick leather wallet in my shoulder bag. I was doing my household errands in Manhattan and got a text from Amex regarding a charge in another borough. After stealing my information, these lowlives quickly created an actual card with full information on the strip allowing the fraudulent card to be actually used at a supermarket, which thankfully was denied. As some of you know, it's a great hassle to have to replace my credit card. I had to make many phone calls to give the new card number for each automatic payment plan I had in place. So I took action to do what I can to reduce the chances that this would happen again - at least to make sure that none of my cards are criminally scanned like that again.These blocking sleeves have the main quality I was looking for: they protect my credit cards. Secondly, I think they're pretty. I have put every card I have including my health insurance card, and driver license in these sheathes. Please protect yourselves. This is a minor expenditure which brought me a great deal of peace of mind and I hope this review is helpful so someone out there.

This product will help prevent thieves from electronically getting your credit card/debit card info. I had a credit card that was loose in my purse during a night out of gambling at a local casino. This woman kept getting closer, closer to me when I was sitting at a slot machine. Unbeknownst to me she had electronic scanner retrieving that credit card info. Later that night she charged 700 to my card but I caught it in time before it was posted. Now all my cards are protected by this sleeve!

I like all the patterns. It would be great however if you could order sets of one pattern. Durability is not as great as I hoped since several of mine have already started to tare.

In each slot on my wallet, I used two sleeves to block the cards — one in front of my cards and one in back. Otherwise it would be a fight to get the cards in and out of each sleeve… too tight. This Looks nice but, I have no idea if it really works.

Super cute and comes with a lot for the price. Fits one standard credit card per sleeve, but still very slim. Not sure if they really work for RFID. Been using for about a month and still holding up.

They were all very pretty. I liked the designs and I appreciated the color difference. This difference made it easier to separate the various kinds of cards into some logical relationship with the color.I am not sure that I like the card sliding in horizontally, instead of vertically. I am use to vertically placing my cards in the envelope and nicely pulling them out by the vertical side of the card. That seems to have a better hold than the horizontal way that Vera Bradley has her cards.The biggest thing that I miss is that I would have like a matching design passport holder. Many other of these type of cards do have that and that seems to be a positive feature.I will have to try out the cards a little more to see how pleased I am with them. For instance, since I just bought them, I do not know how sturdy they are and for how long they last.I hope this is helpful.CI in Mass.

I've tried using the touch tap feature with the sleeve on at many stores, and it doesn't read... which is good! I also tested it with an RFID scanner, and nothing. They are paper so they're going to wear out with continued insert/removal of cards, but the value is worth it.
