Decent for the money
If you're looking for a great guitar, this isn't it. But if your looking for great value, here it is. The construction of it is well put together. It came with a straight neck and intonation was pretty much spot on. The paint and finish is pretty nice. The issue I have is the electronics. The toggle switch isn't wired properly or is faulty, it cuts out the pickups all together at times. The volume and time pots barely work until they are at the end of the turning radius. The pickups aren't bad, but very microphonic. Sounds good on distortion, so-so clean. I bought this guitar and planned on getting rid of the electronics anyway. Once the new stuff is in, this guitar will be a really nice guitar, and I'm into it less than $500. If you want something to customize, this would be a good guitar. It's got good bones.

Looks good
Frets need to be have edges filed and it has a big gouge on the back but other than that looks and feels good, was a good deal

Neck is not rosewood : fairly decent for the price , will need a lot of set up .

A V for the future
(My experience)It arrived quicker than expected which is always nice. Its strings feel a bit off for the guitar (will have to get new ones). The looks cant be beat for this cheap price the only thing i see wrong with it is you'll need to upgrade the pick ups sometime after getting it.Btw- i didnt see this any where but the nobs are 2 volumes 1 per pick-up and a master tone.

Headstock is not blank like the picture.
I've been buying project guitars from Amazon in the $200 range for a while now. This is by far the most poorly constructed guitar I've encountered thus far. No blank headstock like the picture. Huge Zenison brand on the guitar. There is a big chip where the neck meets the body. The neck plate is mounted crooked. The screw holes in the pick guard are not symmetrically positioned. One screw is almost off of the edge and barely grabs the wood underneath. The neck is shimmed with pieces of paper that are sloppily positioned and poking out of the neck pocket. The neck will require proper shimming to get the action playable. You'll find the typical cheap components that are standard on this level of guitar. For this price range, however other brands offer much better build quality and playability out of the box. If you want to practice working on guitars, this will probably serve you well. If you want to buy a playable guitar, spend a little more or research different brands.

Great deal!
Sounds great and had great action right out of the box.

Expect what you pay for for a $200 V. Turned mine into a $500 V.
It's cheap but if you replace a lot of parts it could be an awesome guitar. Bought it just for the body, took everything off and put on better parts.
