It worked for a while
When I first got this I was very happy because it works with my Sony A7Riii, unlike most other intervalometers. It still works as an intervalometer; however the simple cable release button has stopped working after about 8 months of very light use. We will see what the manufacturer's warranty is like ...

Useless to me.
Works on bulb as long as I have a shorter exposure, say 15 seconds. As soon as I put three minute exposure, it automatically adds a 99:99:99 countdown between shots. Totally useless for my intended purpose.

Great intervalometer with a couple of quirks
It's a great intervalometer / timer remote, but it's not all rosy...The Good Stuff1) Sturdy build2) Great Battery Life3) Good length cableThe not so good1) The interface is backlit, which is great, but relies on a printed part at the top. In the dark, it's impossible to know what mode you're in (i.e. what settings you're changing), which is a huge pain: the backlight is useless if you also need to use a flashlight.2) Whenever you power the device off, all the settings reset. Not a problem, except...3) ... If you want to program the number of shots, you can press and hold the button, but they increment slowly, so it takes forever to set it to, say, 200 shots.4) The user interface is confusing; i've used a lot of intervalometers, but this is the first one where I needed to read the manual. Once you get it, it's fine, of course, but the manual itself could be clearer on key points...Overall, I'll keep using this one until I eventually lose it or it wears out, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Software Bug Makes It Less Functional For Me
There is a bug in the software that runs this device. If you set it to 10:00 min as your duration, it will go into a 99.99.99 loop. But if you set it to 9:59 sec, it works fine. There were other even number minutes that also sent it into a loop, I decided to return mine after no response from the seller after I made them aware of the flaw. On the positive side, it does have an on/off switch.

Your best Sony time-lapse option
My Sony cameras lack a time-lapse facility, and no longer support downloadable apps, so this LCD timer/remote was an affordable, easy-to-use solution. It's more reliable than non-wired options, including radio remotes and using your smart device app with the camera's WI-Fi connection.

Good for the Money, Works with Sony A7RIII
First of all, this is the one Intervalometer that I've found that works with my A7RIII, I'm miffed at Sony for not including one built in, but this will have to do. Programming is easy and very straightforward, I don't know battery life quite yet, but seems decent, build quality is also fairly good. Only downside is that the LED to light up the screen is a bright white instead of a light green or red. But overall a promising product.

Great intervalometer for time lapses
Great intervalometer for time lapses, also useful as a remote/wired trigger. The screens for setting up for a time lapse are a touch odd and it's a bit easy to set it up to shoot far less than it should.

The perfect compliment to my camera
I really like this unit; I had other (cheaper) ones but this has two major advantages. It's shape makes it shorter, easier to fit into your gear bag, and you can turn this one off and on! It's perfect for my star photography, great shutter release and intervalometer, highly recommended.
